A top candidate in the Republican primary for Oregon governor has confirmed he was part of an invite-only Portland swingers group for swapping sexual partners.
Sandy Mayor Stan Pulliam said in a statement to The Oregonian/OregonLive that he and his wife, MacKensey, briefly explored relationships with other couples beginning in 2016 before deciding to “focus solely on each other, our marriage and our family.”
“Ever since, day in and day out, we’ve worked as a team to strengthen our family and to create a better community and state for our girls and the hundreds of thousands of kids just like them, so they can safely grow up, live, work and stay right here in Oregon,” Pulliam said.

My guess he has had no political life besides Mayor of Sandy, has no particular big state Dim friends, and in spite of being a Lib decided he had no chance in a Democrat primary so chose to run in the GOP instead. Maybe I’m wrong.
Sandy is a town of 10K. This guy isn’t a serious candidate, he is simply looking for publicity and seems to have found it.

Religious freedom?
Taxes?
Public land-use issues?
Reigning in the chaos of control Socialist policies enacted by his predecessors?
Cutting crime while restoring faith and confidence in our law enforcement?

I worked at a major university for a few years, and it was a well known "secret" that a lot of the high-tower administration's marriages were scams. They would get married to look normal, so their careers/ambitions wouldn't be harmed. I'm certain that also applies to politicians and their spouses, or any elite group.

Correct. The GOP is a coalition of “Not Democrats” who have often times diametrically opposed agendas on key issues like borders and trade. A party that stands for nothing will be nothing.

One more reminder as to why the eastern counties of Oregon want to leave the people’s republic and join Idaho....virtually impossible for a real conservative to get elected to statewide office, and the Rino-infested GOP offers up losers like this guy. If I were a Republican in Oregon (outside Portland), I’d join the succession movement, or better yet, just pack up and move to Idaho.
