Better hurry. I hear the raises for federal employees is tied directly to the remaining cognitive function of Bidens brain. Four to six percent is pretty generous.

No government raises. No significant hiring and fill only half of the jobs lost due to retirement etc.

No raises. They got paid during COVID yrs and some/many of their jobs had nothing to do!!

They do NOT deserve or need a raise.

Give the money to the people.

4.6% is pretty hefty and I think way above the usual raises.

Not to quibble but there’s no money to ‘give’ to the people.
We are in a $30T hole.

Sure, because retirees and folks working in the private sector will all be getting 4.6% raises this year in order to pay the taxes that will fund the pay increase bureaupuke class.

Fill none of the jobs lost to any attrition. Hiring freeze for the remaining 3 years. Let them figure it out like everyone else.

How about the Republicans doing something to reduce the size, scope and cost of government?

We should press every R candidate about doing this if they want our votes.
