The Anti-Defamation League has broadened its definition of what it means to be racist in response to criticism that its earlier description was too narrow.
Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the New York-based civil rights group, announced the change Wednesday in an essay posted online titled, "Getting it Right in Defining Racism." He explained that the ADL, founded in 1913, began reconsidering an earlier definition of racism in response to recent criticism that its description was too centered on white privilege and excluded other experiences.

The epitome of white priveledge is to be able to redefine racism to suit your own needs.
They seem to get to the correct wording, but their logic to arriving at it is just...racist.

While this doesn’t actually define racism, it does demonstrate it.
Don’t even like the new wording.
For example, one ethnic group might, by & large, decide to normalize certain anti social behaviors and so would ordinarily be open to criticism by those of other ethnicities who adhere to accepted social standards.
Under the latest definition such criticism focused upon that community would be considered racist.

I guess I can see that interpretation. Any definition that focuses on ‘feelings’, ‘beliefs’, or ‘judgement’, rather than on actions (i.e. withholding employment opportunity, acts of violence) is going to run afoul of freedom of thought and freedom of speech.

Say the same lefties that tell us “whiteness” is a social construct and doesn’t really exist, and that there is no such thing as “white culture”, etc. How can any hierarchy be privileging mythical fairy tale creatures who don’t exist?
