Meet Donald Trump, the constitutional scholar.
The twice-impeached former president is claiming that the bipartisan effort to reform the Electoral Count Act of 1887 proves that ex-Vice President Mike Pence had the legal right to overturn the results of the 2020 election that Trump lost.
“If the Vice President (Mike Pence) had “absolutely no right” to change the Presidential Election results in the Senate ... how come the Democrats and RINO Republicans are desperately trying to pass legislation that will not allow the Vice President to change the results of the election?” Trump asked.
Without providing any facts or legal precedent, Trump suggested the effort to clarify the 135-year-old statute means Pence would have been within his rights to reject the results of the electoral votes cast by the states on Jan. 6, 2021.

"Rubber Stamps" do not matter who use them.
Where it says his office is required.
Whether Pence could or couldn’t doesn’t mean squat now. They pulled a fast one in 2020 and we weren’t prepared to stop it. The way it looks now, we still aren’t prepared to stop them in 2022. Some states are trying to react, but Biden’s handlers are trying to put the fix in at the national level with their new “Voting Rights” law.
DJT needs to stop the petulant attacks on Pence and put on his big boy pants to focus on 2022. We ALL lost in 2020 because we weren’t prepared to beat the Dems and Republicans who wanted to stay in power instead of us. Trumps sobbing at this point does nothing for me.
They aren't "results" if they are fraudulent. It is his job to *REFUSE* to accept an obviously fraudulent process.
How is it clear if he had two sets of Electoral representatives from the same state?
Does it not seem like common sense to pause the counting in order to determine which set or sets of Electoral votes to count?
It is not "overturning" the election, but ensuring that the correct votes are counted.
We all know Mitch wanted to get rid of Trump.
And we know Mitch told Pence how to stab DJT in
the back.
When states want to have an alternate slate of
electors because of voter fraud, Pence should
have sent the decision back to the states for
investigation of fraud, a canvas of votes and
audits. This is not dog catcher its the most
powerful position in the world.
What we see now is what happens when the fix is
in and we are suffering in every possible way
with a vegetable as president.
Pence name is Mud.
Which would have immediately gone to the Supreme Court and if passed there would go back to the states to verify the authenticity of the vote.
All of those states are run by Repubs.
I agree that we aren’t prepared to stop future scams in 2022 or even 2024. Tepid “election integrity” laws passed in the 2021 year will just be ignored, with impunity, as the existing election laws were in 2020. Who’s going to stop them?
In the meantime Brandon calls a disfavored black journalist a coke fiend and a fisfavored white journalist a dumb son of a bitch and is still obviously a fine replacement for meany-head Trump.
In the past, rulings from the chair in the Special Joint Session could be appealed to the floor.
Does anyone here question that if the chair had intervened in the manner suggested, that he would have been overruled by the floor by AT LEAST 500 votes, if not 535-0?
If you believe otherwise, you are living in a fantasyland.
Decertification to initiate the investigation of glaring illegalities is NOT “overturning an election.”
That is false.
Please provide one example of any State Legislature acting as a body, or the Executive of any State, doing any such thing.
It never happened.
But he didn't.
Do you believe that rulings such as the one you wanted him to make can be appealed to the floor? Yes or no?
Assuming that a State Legislature has the power to do this after the Congress has done its thing - which is very improbable - but assuming that to be true - has any State Legislature done so?
Does anyone here question that if the chair had intervened in the manner suggested, that he would have been overruled by the floor by AT LEAST 500 votes, if not 535-0?
I'm thinking that your argument here boils down to this:
"When one is being raped, one should not fight back."
My position is more like "Make the SOB's pay for it and try to damage them permanently. "
By making it into a constitutional crises, Biden, even if ultimately prevailing on the floor, would be widely seen as illegitimate, and this would help greatly in undermining everything he attempted to do.
It would also increase pressure to get to the bottom of the fraudulent election doings in the swing states.
I believe I just saw an article saying 2 million of Pennsylvania's votes were fraudulent.
The truth is slowly coming out.
I can not provide that info. This is what I heard. Guess I was misinformed
Has there ever been such a blatant Presidential election theft?
That’s part of the process. Nothing happened going forward.
