It’s all very well for Kevin McCarthy and other GOP members of Congress to rant on Fox News about how terrible the border crisis is, but what are they doing about it?
At least 2 million illegal migrants crossed the border last year, and all we heard from Congress was hot air.
Republicans in Washington will tell you they are powerless to do anything about illegal migration until after they regain control in November, assuming they do.
But one lone New York gubernatorial candidate did more to inform the public about the Biden administration’s partnership with people-smuggling cartels than did members of Congress with vastly more resources.
Rob Astorino didn’t rest on empty rhetoric. The former Westchester County executive took action.
Despite being slandered by Democrats as a racist, he has exposed the deliberate subterfuge of the Biden administration as it flies illegal migrants around the country and secretes them in unsuspecting communities.

Bush League Republicans have been importing a permanent Democrats majority for 30 years.
Lol. Pubbie business interests want the cheap labor. They are involved in the human trafficking as well.
They can’t? They can and they will, they need the cover.
RINO Globalist, Cheap Labor Express and Open Borders STOOGES know who butters their bread!
Nothing is going to change. Ever. We are being invaded and no one in Government cares. Our Grandkids will be living in a very different America.
Help them to plan accordingly.
I’m not sure what they can do. Being vocal only works for Democrats, as they own the mainstream press mouthpieces.
What the hell kind of statement is that? The democrats have the power!
“Bush League Republicans have been importing a permanent Democrats majority for 30 years.”
GOP President Ronald Reagan did a “one time” amnesty deal with the Democrats in Congress in exchange for a secure border. It was his successor, Republican and globalist George H.W. Bush who went soft on border enforcement and instituted the lax enforcement policies that began the slippery slide down the slope to where we are today. Clinton, Bush II, and Obama simply continued the Bush I policy of ignoring the border and the mainstream press dutifully collaborated by not publicizing the situation as it continues to do today.
The nation does not need comprehensive immigration reform. That bill was passed by a Democrat Congress in the 1980’s. What is needed is strict enforcement of the laws on the books. Any Republican or Democrat who insists the nation needs “immigration reform” is part of the problem, not a sincere problem solver.
The Biden administration is deliberately flouting the law daily. Biden is willfully violating his oath of office. How many Republican leaders in Congress are loudly demanding impeachment and introducing bills of impeachment? None. They are also violating their oaths of office by not doing so.
Have you heard any unified message from Replicans about the DEmocrats intentionally salting mass areas of the country with third-world immigrants in the dead of night? I haven’t heard any objections. Not one word.
Therefore, IMO, they are wholly complicit.
Stepping in how???
Then let’s primary them out of office and replace them with America first candidates who actually care about enforcing immigration laws.
The reality is that it wouldn’t matter if the Republicans stepped in or not. They have zero authority in any of these situations to make any effect.
Republicans have tried to bring media attention to the border and to the Jan 6 detainees and have had zero success.
The DOJ and the MSM care not one whit about showing these issues. But if Republicans take over in 2022, the MSM will harangue them constantly about their failures to fix these issues.
So join the club, you can harangue them now and think yourself virtuous.
Two million per year. Looks like Pedo Jo Jo and his sidekick Indian, Harris, will win with 89 million in 2024.
Complain? The GOP loves cheap labor.
Please enlighten us all as to what a party, completely out of power; the R’s control neither the executive nor either house of the legislature, so please tell us what they’re supposed to do about it?
I’m sure Pelosi will get right on that and allow them to bring their legislation (if any exists) right to the floor for a vote...
Yes, this is a problem, it’s all a talking point for everyone, not an action point. Even Trump did the same thing for many immigration issues. All talk, no action, or half assed action that got turned over before it even went into affect.
I read a GOP proposed 10 point contract with America yesterday. It’s the same old crap. Closing the border was #6 on the list when it should be #1 and, of course working something out on immigration laws. I wonder who the dummies think they will work something out with? In fact, #2 should be that the GOP doesn’t do anything until it closes the border.
