Travel has been completely blocked on both sides of the border. Semi-trucks have been parked in both lanes approaching the border on either side.
More than a thousand Albertans in hundreds of trucks and vehicles have descended on Alberta’s Coutts border and have stopped all cross-border travel.

These truckers claim they are prepared to wait 2 weeks or more, until Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, ends the vaxx mandates in Alberta. They cannot join the protest in d'Ottawa, so they're doing their bit, in Alberta.
Local Hutterite 'colonies' (somewhat similar to Amish, or Doukhabors) in Southern Alberta are providing food for the protesters.
Though I have a weekend off, my car is on the fritz, so I cannot join them, as much as I would love to!

I absolutely love this; the people are speaking, loud and clear. Be prepared as the Deep State, now in a panic, will attempt to issue draconian laws and regulations to stifle this grass roots movement, but the truckers, being as tough as they are, will power through this, and the people cheering on the roadways will not be silenced. Alternative methods to protest will rise from the ground up to circumvent any attempts to silence VOX POPULI, and we will win, one way or the other. My gut tells me so.
I haven’t heard anything about any protests at that crossing. Coutts-Sweetgrass is the busiest crossing in Alberta. Alberta, sometimes referred to as the ‘Texas’ of the North, IS a hotbed for independent thought AND action (though both Calgary and Edmonton have too large a share of leftist ‘sheeple’).
This AM, I heard about a convoy heading to the Legislature in Edmonton, but I haven’t heard any more about it. I also read of a BC convoy heading to the Chilliwack border crossing, but I haven’t heard anything else.

I hope the frequency and intensity of these types of protests continues. It needs to be continuous until freedom is upheld and the control freak mentality is crushed.

These truckers have the ability to cause HUGE PAIN to these politicians they have the power to shut the supply chain down, stop it dead in its tracks!! It will be rough on the public for a while HOWEVER it will be worth it!! GOD BLESS THEM ALL!! I think the truckers got a HUGE BOOST seeing the massive support they have!!

Turns out that the trucks, that move everything, and the drivers are more powerful than the threat of using guns. All the truckers need to do is just park their rigs.
As the Good Witch said “You’ve had this power all along”.
