Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) is facing fierce pushback from Democrats as he implements a slew of conservative policies just two weeks after he formally assumed office.
The businessman-turned-politician has hit the ground running, signing a number of executive orders aimed at banning mask mandates and what his office has called “inherently divisive concepts, like Critical Race Theory and its progeny” from classrooms.

But Youngkin sparks a backlash for implementing the agenda he ran on?

I’m taking a shine to Youngkin. I thought he’d lead like the typical RINO, but so far, so good. I’d love to continue to be proven wrong.

Every day he should be slamming down 5, 10 new EOs, don’t give the liberal bastards an inch. If the state senate won’t act and put up some bill tell ‘em to kiss off and get busy making changes.
Youngkin’s executive order to make masks optional in Virginia schools has been met with the most resistance from school boards and some parents. The executive order allows parents to be the ultimate deciders of whether their children should wear masks in public or private schools.
There is a story about the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, one of the premier zoos in the world. A pen was accidently left open, and several of the animals had escaped. The zookeepers saw their trail going off into the desert, but someone discovered the animals were actually back in their open cages.
They had an excellent tracker on staff, and he followed their trail into the desert. He saw where they found food and water. But there was a point where they turned around and ran back home. There were some coyote tracks nearby. Apparently, at the first sign of what would have been everyday danger in the wild, they high-tailed it back to captivity.
F the democrats and their backlash. As if they ever gave a crap about anyone else’s “backlash” against any of their nonsense.

Of course the Dims are pushing back. It would be news if they weren’t.
Youngkin and his AG Jason Miyares have been surprisingly busy trying to undo all of the damage that the previous administration had done. I’m sure the Dims will try to leverage the courts to delay or stop their actions.
Youngkin is the backlash!
I certainly admire the way he is riling up the VA communists...
However, as yet, he has not taken direct action at them over their widely publicized telling him to "stuff it" on the "mask" & "CRT" orders he issued...
If they continue, he loses...
Wars are not won only through ideas, plans, and strategies... Mostly they are won in the trenches where blood, guts, pain, and urine are everywhere...
We'll have to wait and see if, how, and when he joins the real battle...
Borne from their completely misguided belief that they, and only they, are entitled to rule. They truly believe any other are illegitimate. That’s why they bear such fierce anger in their very souls.
