Stephen Hayes, a conservative journalist and and commentator who left Fox News last year over the company's publication of a controversial documentary about the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol is joining NBC News.
Hayes, CEO of the political news and commentary website The Dispatch, will join NBC as a contributor and political analyst and is slated to appear on “Meet The Press” this Sunday, the network announced on Friday.
"I’ve known and worked with Steve Hayes on and off for nearly 25 years. He is a principled reporter and analyst who always puts truth and facts above emotion and sentiment … even when it comes to our beloved Green Bay Packers," NBC News Political Director and Moderator of Meet The Press Chuck Todd said as part of NBC's announcement.
Hayes will be a key contributor to the network's special political and election coverage, including on streaming and digital as the outlet covers this year’s midterms and the 2024 presidential election.
In November, Hayes and fellow conservative pundit Jonah Goldberg announced they had decided to quit Fox News, where they had been contributors for years, saying they had grown increasingly concerned with the content of Fox's prime-time opinion lineup, specifically host Tucker Carlson's documentary series examining the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

He is still endorsing them.Name names, post links big mouth.
Thankfully you're not the arbiter of who is or who isn't worthy of a Trump endorsement.
It is the Bush League Republicans that you support that assisted the Democrats in cheating Trump out.
Now they are voting for multi-trillion dollar Porkulus bills for him.
You take a bow.
LOLOL....conservative....stop!!.....this is a fitting match.
NBC deserves him.
LOL.

Rubio, voted for amnesty, can’t get any more Assistant Democrats than providing them a permanent majority.
Grassley, voted for Porkulus II.
Trump endorsed Romney.
He endorsed McCain.
Trump also endorsed McConnell, Grahamnesty, Tillis, Cornyn, Ernst, Capito, Cassidy, Risch, Rounds, Sasse and Sullivan.
Hayes and fellow conservative pundit Jonah Goldberg
***”fellow conservative”???? More like fellow RINO. Fellow GOPe. Notice that he keyed up on Tucker Carlson. The sooner we rid this party of these fauxconservatives, the better off we will be.
They need to have a “conservative” that will unquestioningly bash Trump in their roundtable segments.
“Principled” there’s that code word again.
a “conservative” journalist
“Trump has driven many of them out into the open”
Agreed
Sunshine - a great disinfectant.
Look up thread and see how resistant Freepers are to cleaning House (and Senate).
He’s the Nickey Haley of Jeb Bushes, of the John *****n’s....
Well, if that's true it would be a welcome change from the usual NBC suspects. See Tagline.
He got his panties in a wad over Tucker. His intolerance will fit in nicely with the libs ... until they cancel him.
It’s fitting. NBC is a joke so hiring this loser fits.
“left Fox News” = Contract not renewed
“ He is a principled reporter and analyst who always puts truth and facts above emotion and sentiment … even when it comes to our beloved Green Bay Packers,”
Then why did he quit over the truth on Jan. 6th….and not report on how the Packers suck?
