She would have her clerks do all the actual work.

this would be a great time for Biden to prove he is willing to work with the right and nominate a moderate that can get bi-partisan approval.

:)

either way, I hope he nominates someone old or with serious health issues :)

She’s just “A One-Ton Tomato” sung to the tune of Guantanamera.

She’d wind up the kind of laughingstock that Sotomayor has turned out to be.

Kamala is a laughingstock now, and seems to be okay with that.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but Breyer announcing retirement means Dems know they are losing the Senate this year

Biden is dopey enough to nominate himself.

The first rumor I heard was that they will nominate Kamala Harris. That way, she won’t succeed Biden and they can ‘install’ who they want, and they won’t lose face by having to get rid of her. NO one likes her.

It’s a shame the Supreme Court is a political body.

Biden will nominate someone young enough, black enough, woman enough to make this be his one shining star accomplishment in his very failed presidency.

A replacement on the horizon.
Chances are it will not be Merrick Garland
seeing he has, at this time, a prominent job
and filling it adequately (to SloJo’s liking).
This would leave the gate open for the EX-Resident,
BO, his wife, or the Clintons (either/or).
Would the HO be interested? Certainly a step up the
ladder for her after suffering Biden’s abuses this
last year.

Roll the dice; all that will be seen is snake eyes.

Well, they did sort of do that when Obama nominated him. McConnell actually did something right to keep him off the court.

Damn. I was really hoping he’d refuse to retire for one more year. We need to pray for the good health of everybody on the SCOTUS for one more year. Only then will the mortal danger have passed.

Hitlery is too old for the Supreme Court. It would be a waste of a nomination. They will want someone who is young enough to be there for a long long time.

I really think he will nominate Harris.
