Infowars founder and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones revealed Monday that he met with the House select committee investigating last year’s Capitol riot — and exercised his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination “almost 100 times.”
“I just had a very intense experience being interrogated by the January 6 committee,” Jones said on his podcast. “They were polite, but they were dogged.”

Yes you can pick and choose. It isn’t smart, but quite literally;
“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions. You have the right to have a lawyer with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. *****If you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present, you have the right to stop answering at any time.”*****
Nothing wrong with taking the Fifth. I had commie relatives who did this in the 1950s
Alex Jones did the smart thing here
Flynn and scooter libby didnt do that
When the commies put on a show trial, saying “hi” will be used as evidence of your guilt.
You’d have to be an idiot to appear; but if forced, of course you would say as little as possible. Anything said will, WILL, be twisted, truncated, or outright lied about [cf Schiff’s recitation of the Trump call]. Never understood why refusing to give your persecutors weapons to falsely attack you is a bad thing.
As for the Alex Jones bashers, the dude is an exuberant showman and says things that are wacko. So the f*ck what. How many of Jones’ “conspiracies” came true? [answer: VAXX passports is one] He’s been proven to be more prescient than 99% of the “pundits” on TV.
I agree.
It was the FBI
It was an attempted set up, possible only bc the FBI knew in advance the rally would be used as a justification for political persecution of conservatives.
Jones smartly told them to pound sand.
Whether or not you like or hate Jones, how/why did the FBI know to offer him a ride to the rally if it wasn’t a set-up? Bueller? Bueller?
Nor am I a fan of his show. He did the right thing by pleading the 5th almost 100 times. Too bad he didn’t do it 200 times.
Important life lesson. Hopefully some folks noticed.
Just read Your list and with more than 10 points I
Will put Fox in a Crapper!
.
Kudos to Alex!
Nicely done!
Taking the 5th is simple as long as you continue to assert the 5th.
GREAT! Response.
I would have left it at “you can do your own looking.”
Alex is a much maligned PATRIOT! Alex LOVES this country and FREEDOM.
I’d have Alex Jones on my team ANYTIME!
Yes he is a bit over the top, but what the world does he have to do with January 6th? Just because as a reporter he was there? Who else are they going to drag before this kangaroo court?
I’m listening right now. I am a fan - but he’s not my favorite person. He’s not 100% honest. It might be to protect sources.
That's almost certainly a lie. He probably asserted his constitutional right against self-incrimination. Once. They kept asking the question in violation of said rights, and he reiterated his assertion....about a hundred times or so.
You are phenomenal!
Fox News Prime Time has had countless medical experts on regarding each of the Covid related issues you site. (Cavuto is NOT Prime Time or Conservative)
The guests on Tucker, Sean, and Laura's show have been clear on the lab leak, the effectiveness of Ivermectin, as well as the risks of the "not a vaccine", the ineffectiveness of masks, isolation, and the "vaccines".
Those 3 have done more to promote the work of Alex Berenson, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Dr. Li Meng Yan (lab origins of the virus), Ingo Rademacher, Rand Paul, Scot Atlas, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Peter McCullough, (and a half dozen other prominent Doctors)
Plenty of Fox reporting on Hunter Biden and promotion of the book "Laptop from Hell".
You're just wrong about Fox News.
It is his legal right not to say anything that would get him into trouble with those who want to destroy him. It’s smart to “take the fifth.”
Oh come on, imagine how bored and outraged Lizard and sobbing little Adam were.
As should anyone who appears before that anti-constitutional committee.
Anything they say will be held against conservatives.
Yeah, a year after Alex reported it. Fox was doing the bat soup/wet market story long afterwards.
And Tucker had his compassionate no more Hunter laptop stories show two weeks before the election.
And to this day, Fox has never called the election stolen. At most they have “concerns” here and there, and want “better election integrity”... etc etc. But they have NEVER stated that it was fraud. That is against the corporate line. They continue to claim that the fraud did not affect the outcome.
