A New Jersey house has been hit by cars two weekends in a row — starting just hours after its new first-time owners bought it, according to authorities and an online fundraiser.
The first incident occurred on Jan. 15 when a car lost control, went right through the Ocean Township home and ended up in Deal Lake, the Wanamassa Fire Company said.

Location, location, location. First rule of real estate.
I wonder what this does to insurance rates?
Mayhem is everywhere!
Put up a giant billboard of the Vice President grinning broadly, extending her open arms in a gesture of
‘Welcome!!”. That should serve as a good deterent.
If that still doesn’t work, try using a giant billboard of
Chris Christie holding a submarine sandwich.
“We’ll buy it! We’ll be safe here!”
This proves it once and for all... New Jersey has the worst drivers.
“The World According to GARP” technique apparently was not effective here.
That’s nothin. Years ago my brother in law crashed into a tree in someone’s front yard. The tow truck driver said it was good the people weren’t home. It was the second car that night to hit the tree.
A couple of hefty boulders in the front yard should do the trick...
‘pre-disastered’ that was funny.
One Jersey driver embellished that view by initiating a high speed crash into the second floor of a brick structure in Toms River, New Jersey:

They have a fundraiser set up for $21,000. I would think their homeowers insurance would cover as well as the driver’s insurance. Looks like they are trying to make money off of it.
Yeah... that is some pretty bad driving!
Granite quarry blocks. You need an 18 wheeler to deliver them, but nothing short of a tank will budge them.
Time to invest in some kind of barrier.
My wife grew up in Moline, IL (150 mi. west of Chicago). The house was at a backstreet tee intersection. Looking out the front door you would be looking straight down the street. In snow and ice, they would only park something on the curb if it was a car they WANTED hit.
They had several drivers in nice weather skid into the yard. Just not paying attention I suppose.
Looked it up on Zillow. NJ appears to have very high costs for homes.
I imagine these first time home buyers are probably strapped for cash for awhile after closing, etc. The homeowner insurance may have a hefty deductible too.
Two vehicles in a short amount of time I’m sure has done a number on the place!
One of the FR posters has it right - place some granite boulders out by the street. Take a look at the overhead view.....
The owners homeowers coverage will have a deductible but the owners will be able to collect on a first dollar basis from the drivers’ liability car insurance.
