Many people pretend to care about their carbon footprint and falsely blame humans and fossil fuels for cyclical and natural changes in the climate(Breaking?)

Many wealthy people who have multiple mansions, yachts, private jets, and gas-guzzlers pretend to care about their carbon footprint as they lecture us that we should drive inefficient, impractical, expensive electric cars powered by batteries that are made from a flammable pollutant. Sometimes they buy fictional carbon credits to pretend they care. Their carbon footprint did not change on all their stuff.

Ford and GM make huge profits selling gas-guzzlers and then pretend to care by buying a piece of paper showing carbon credits.

The European Commission has proposed an E.U. fuel tax on airplanes and ships, but they exempt private jets and yachts from the tax. They either don't care or know that taxing carbon will not change the climate.

Yachts To Be Exempt From EU's Carbon Pricing Plan

Last summer, we reported that the European Commission - that murder of career bureaucrats - has proposed exempting private jets, the one most polluting form of transportation, from the planned EU jet fuel tax. A draft indicated that the tax would be phased-in for passenger flights, including ones that carry cargo

This is odd because a recent report found that private-jet CO2 emissions in Europe rose by 31% between 2005 and 2019.

When Mt. Penitubo near Clark AFB erupted it made more greenhouse gasses than the industrial revolution just to put things in perspective.

Nobody goes out in the morning as says, “Gee, what carbon footprints from my fossil fuels am I causing to day?” That’s stupid.

The only “pretenders” in this game is the Left-run government, and government couldn’t care less care about you, your carbon footprints, or you health.

“Carbon footprints” and “fossil fuels” are just another excuse by the totalitarian Left to try to gain dictatorial power over you and take more of your money.

All this for a fiction made up by leftist dictators who wanted to get their hands into US pockets.

Yep. Remember from the article yesterday about low-conscientiousness conservatives?

Pretending piously claiming invented moral high ground whilst labeling non compliant conservatives as heartless and careless.

“Many people pretend to care about their carbon footprint...”

I wouldn’t even know how to begin to calculate that... And I doubt if it would be worth the trouble.

Hi.

I care about my carbon footprint. If I’m not taking in O2, and exhaling CO2 I’m dead.

I care.

I created a wonderful sign and placed it in a very visible place in my cubicle: Large Carbon Footprints Make For Happy Trees. Drives the leftists crazy. For those few who actually want to discuss it, I remind them about what we used to teach in our schools, the Carbon Cycle. Most of the life on Earth is carbon-based life. No carbon, no life.

As I just parked my carbon based fuel burning car in the garage and started a wood fire in my stove, and turned on my electric powered HVAC that is most likely powered by coal, I would say I have little concern for said footprint.

“ I am very proud of my carbon footprint, and always strive to make it bigger and better.”
My lifelong goal is to make my carbon footprint big enough to be seen from space.

I suspect I might have done that already. When I was ten years old my family lived in southeastern Colorado. There was a very large sunflower field that we wanted to make bicycle roads in; however, chopping those trails was very hard work. So we figured that an aimed burn would do the trick. We got to see the firetrucks from all over that part of the state.

I ALWAYS say to these wealthy ass-clowns who demand all sorts of eco-crap...

YOU FIRST.

When YOU are flying coach, and driving about in a Smart Car, eating Kraft Mac & Cheese you can start asking me to change my habits.
