People in England will no longer be legally required to wear face masks from next week, although they will still be recommended in some settings.

The change is part of the prime minister’s wider announcement to end Plan B coronavirus measures in England.

From Today, Thursday 20 January, face masks will no longer be required in secondary school classrooms, and the Department for Education will shortly remove guidance on their use in communal areas.

If this has made the younger generation cynical of governments and quazi-governments and distrustful of their solutions it is a good thing as long as they don't latch onto the stupid idea of "we can do it the right way THIS time".

You are not that smart. Nobody is that smart, that self sacrificing or that pure that they can not use power in a destructive way.

So the best thing to do is make sure all "Big" is kept small and with limited power.

Sure you are going to have some people who are going to do bad or stupid things but they all together will do less harm then one single over powered bureaucrat.
