The U.S. has given approval for three Baltic NATO members to send American-made weapons to Ukraine, U.S. officials said.
The decision will enable Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia to send Javelin antitank weapons and Stinger air-defense systems for Ukraine’s forces.
The Biden administration has also notified Congress that it intends to provide Ukraine with five Mi-17 transport helicopters, U.S. officials said. The Russian-made helicopters had been intended for Afghanistan’s military and were being repaired in Ukraine.

Highlights: Javelin antitank weapons and Stinger air-defense systems on way to Ukraine. Also UK is sending antitank weapons to Ukraine along with a small number of British troops to train the Ukrainian military in how to use them.
Next, need CIA to setup training camps in neighboring countries to arm Ukrainian partisans to drive Russia out if they invade.
Bleed Russia’s economy and military.
F Russia. F Putin.
Cyber attack on the Homeland, in 3, 2, 1....
Russia will be at the Dnieper River before any the aforementioned go into effect. If I were betting over/under, I say Russia moves in within 45 days. Could be kabuki theatre, but probably isn’t. Who knows…
Great idea, drag NATO partners into the mix, exposing them to intense pressure from Russia and raising the specter of wider war. Do they think Russia will not react? Do they think Russia will just sit there and let their neighbors basically join in hostilities against them?
I hope they don’t shoot down a passenger jet.
This did not need to get this bad...but we now have Biden instead of Trump.
Sounds like someone gave 10% to the Big Guy.
But I’m glad to see Ukraine being supported.
I’m betting on Feb 2nd.
Why that date specifically?
For all of Romney’s faults, he correctly named Russia as our biggest threat.
Bigger than China.
Bigger than Islam.
We didn’t want Russian missiles in Cuba. Why should Russia tolerate US missiles in the Ukraine?
“Russia will be at the Dnieper River before any the aforementioned go into effect. “
As our own recent wars have shown taking territory is easy, holding it is hard.
Our goal should be making sure the Ukrainians mount an insurgency that will break Russia in the long term. Weapons like these are what they need.
Soviet missiles in Cuba were capable of a nuclear attack on the US.
NO US MISSILES ARE IN UKRAINE CAPABLE OF ATTACKING RUSSIAN SOIL.
WW2 history. German surrender at Stalingrad.
Obama: “Hey, Joe, the ‘80s called, they want their foreign policy back.”
Whatever makes you think that giving stinger missiles to the most corrupt nation on earth could result in airliners getting shot down? I hope you are not suggesting that our wonderful Ukrainian “allies” wouldn’t sell a few a few to anyone with cash. I mean, just because selling two of them would fund a nice retirement. /s

No offense, but that isn’t the case at all. At most Russia is an annoyance. If they invade Ukraine it’s bad news for the locals but doesn’t effect us at all.
China and Islam have long term plans to destroy us. Plans that we’ve been unable to stop making steady progress.
We all miss the Cold War days. Seek help.
Putin made an offer to allow Ukraine to be a neutral buffer country between Russia and Western Europe. All we had to do was say that Ukraine would never be admitted to NATO. We refused that deal and since then Russia took Crimea and is increasing its hold on Eastern Ukraine.
The World would be a safer place if we had Russia as a friend rather than pushing them into allegiances with Iran and China.
