.... According to Fico (former PM), the draft agreement gives the United States and its military “a free pass for the permanent presence of soldiers, civilian employees, contractors and family members in Slovakia for at least ten years.”
The Slovak-US agreement would enable the American military to use the Slovak military airports at Malacky-Kuchyna and Sliac or, potentially, other specified facilities rent-free. The agreement is to last for ten years.
Funny timing, isn't it? Question is, will they ever leave....
i hope they don’t ferry them

When Russia invades Ukraine, Biden will be there to make certain that they use the correct pronouns.
The checks in the mail to Hunter and the BIG GUY gets 10%.
Virtue signaling imbeciles.>>>>
I look at all that armour neatly lined up side by side in acres of rows and I get all twitchy in my pickle finger.
The USAF could destroy most of Russias armour in an our, like in a shooting range.
No body is talking pre-emptive strike?
I would let Putin utter one word of military threat and then send the USAF in to take out ALL of that neatly arranged armour and transport.Thousands of them.
New Jersey??
dead babies
The war lord will need skilled serfs to tend the crops or he’ll eventually starve...if you have a skill, you can negotiate.
the headline made me laugh, like one of those spit out your coffee moments
LOL yeah right like puppets can order invasions !
all the terrorists turned into viruses, so we won't be rushin in with guns blazing anytime soon
But, then you and I and even Norse are Ukranian patsies too.
Or. maybe not. 12:52 am is not late.
10 megatons, eh?
Some would argue we barely have a cohesive, controllable government and civilization, now.
In any event, I think pockets of civilization and at least some governance would survive even past 100 MT. But, life would be very hard. It’s possible the US could drop to a population of under 20 million by 10 years after a 100MT collection of hits. Some humans would survive in NA even after 1000 MT directed here. But, not a lot.
Some interesting comparisons:
Tunguska ~ 10 MT
Chixilub ~ 100 MT
Large, long track tornado ~ 1 MT*
2004 Indian Ocean earthquake ~ 26 MT (surface), 9600 GIGATONS (Underground).
1811-12 New Madrid earthquake ~ 25 MT (largest shock, unspecified), but this was a series of major and very large quakes: I’ve read estimates of nearly 1500 MT, which may be for the entire series. Huge area affected, possibly damage even in Chicago, seems likely most surface routes broken up over and over, same for many structures.
*BTW, I was in Mayfield, KY, yesterday. Wow.
You was wrong
Hastings - have you seen a map of NATO from 1949?
Norway was a founding member, bordering Russia
Then Poland joined in 1999 - and Poland has a border with Russia in Kaliningrad. So Russia has had one NATO country on their borders for 22 years
Then look at 2004 - Estonia is right next door to St. Petersburg and closer to Moscow than Ukraine -- so, since 2004, there have already been 5 NATO members on Russian borders...
You changed your mind?
Dang - you are a prophet.
Actually yes. Surprised at their strength and Russia’s weakness.
Cronos - Quite trolling me by grabing comments made weeks ago - Everyone knows war moves forward and conditions change. I was not wrong when I made that commet - so just stop trolling me.
