New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) said in an interview he passed on running for Senate because he didn’t want to simply be a “roadblock” to President Biden for two years.
“I was pretty close,” Sununu told The Washington Examiner about weighing a Senate bid. “I wasn't ready to make an announcement, but I was like, 'OK, this makes sense. I think I could be a voice nationally."

What he meant was that Republicans couldn’t pass anything with a Democrat in the White House.
Anything that runs with an (R) in the New England states is a RINO, period. So dont really matter which, yeah?
I know that’s what he’s saying, and that would be fine for two years, hoping that a Republican wins the WH and they have the House already.
He doesn’t want to wait two years to get things done. Well, if we can flip a blue seat to red, that helps to NOT get judges passed for two years.
It would be either Hassan or Shaheen but you make a very good point. Under the law, there would be no requirement in NH that he appoint a Democrat but using his logic that’s what it sounds like he would do. As an aside, if you look closely into the Sununu family they have a dismal record of serving in our military despite being here for several generations. Personally, I use this as a benchmark of patriotism...your mileage might differ.

...another draft dodger...
They have pictures of him with underage girls...or boys.
It’s time to scrap the 17th amendment.
What a dumb thing to say.
So - “no-no.”
He asked why didnt the gop senate do something in 2018 2019 when they had a majority? Got crickets for an answer. He sounds a little cynical but he has a point.
Biden is a 1942 Buick out of gas.
Sununu is worried about blocking him?
Why would he care about blocking him?
How can you block a guy that is dead frozen in his tracks?
And for heaven’s sake, he agrees with his agenda?
What he’s saying is that election in 2022, with a demokkkrat in the White House, means that the only thing he’ll be doing for at least two years is blocking sh!tmuffin’s agenda, and that doesn’t sound like much fun.
Like many RINOs, he views membership in a legislative body as a chance to be creative, to develop new and innovative programs and laws, etc. This isn’t much different than demokkkrats.
Real conservatives view service in the legislature a bit more circumspectly. It’s a chance to guard the rights of the people, and when necessary, to pass legislation that is as modest and limited as possible to address a requirement.
Actually, it does.
NH has passed some very good, freedom protecting legislation which Sununu has signed into law these last couple years when the whole state went to Republican control.
The federal positions remained blue that I believe that was because of election fraud in the MA influenced southern part of the state.
His father convinced GHW Bush to appoint David Souter to the Supreme Court. The Sununus are RINOs.
What a Republican POS, oh wait, I was being redundant there.
The Bolduc guy appears to be a winner. Flynn and Cotton endorsements look good. The problem is, I’ve been burned so many times before on solid looking guys who get to DC and immediately are gobbled up by the swamp. Anymore military officer is a red flag! I’d probably go with the perennial roofer guy.
