Despite calls from former President Donald Trump to replace Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, told NBC’s Chuck Todd Sunday that McConnell has the “full support” of Republican senators.
"I think there's full support for Mitch McConnell. I haven't heard anything other than a solid support for his continued leadership," Romney said during “Meet the Press” Sunday. "People are always trying to placate Donald Trump. I don't fall in that camp, of course. But I wouldn't attribute that as a comment about Mitch McConnell as much as a comment about Donald Trump."
Romney has publicly sparred with Trump, voting once to impeach him in the Senate, becoming the only senator to vote against a member of his own party in such proceedings during the nation’s history.

So McConnell is toast.
He’s got Romney’s support, that’s 1.
I can’t believe that once upon a time I enthusiastically supported this dunce for president.
So romney is the gopE spokesman? Not that I doubt this.
Only because of who he was running against. But of course we pretty much knew the threw that election anyway. His only job was to block a Conservative from the nomination.
In the Senate he probably speaks for most of the RINOs

McConnell is a mixed bag. Sometimes he does something I like; sometimes not.
Milt Romley also believes Joseph Smith, the “founder” of his “church”, sprinted many miles through the woods toting the 275 lb golden plates that he believes are the Book of Mormon. Old Joe was trying to get away from those that might steal them. Old Joe must’ve been quite the strong fellow.
Nobody is dumb enough to announce who they will vote for as leader until after the midterms. Oh yeah, except the incredibly dumb Senator Romney. What an embarrassment for Utah.
Willard has always been the liberal fly in the GOP ointment. He is literally the turd that won’t flush.
It’s just a slam at POTUS Trump.......if Trump found a cure for cancer that weasel Romney would be against it
