Trump has more energy, youth and vigor in his pinky than anyone else in politics, including the young ones.

Not 90+. Right now he has 60+ maybe. But if DeSantis makes a run and is serious about it, he could do well in Iowa and NH. Then after that, anything is possible. If a couple of FReepers on his forum are concerned about Trump's electability, I am sure that there are people in the base who may feel the same way.
The worst case is Trump and DeSantis splitting the vote, and then someone like Liz Cheney getting all of the “Never Trumper” vote, and getting the nomination.
I like all three. Pompeo will not get enough support in the primaries so he will never take off. Trump has baggage. DeSantis has it right now. So he's the man. IMHO.
