One of the nation’s biggest satellite broadcasters, DirecTV, plans to drop carriage of the fringe right-wing cable outlet One America News, several months after a Reuters report revealed that AT&T, one of DirecTV’s owners, was responsible for a large part of the media outlet’s overall revenue.
OAN is owned by Herring Networks, founded by the entrepreneur Robert Herring Sr.
“We informed Herring Networks that, following a routine internal review, we do not plan to enter into a new contract when our current agreement expires,” DirecTV said in a statement. A spokesman would not comment on a report from Bloomberg News Friday evening that said DirecTV’s current carriage contract was set to lapse in April. OAN executives could not be reached for immediate comment.

Roku carries OAN as well, channel 180.
Pluto TV carries OAN. Who cares about direct tv?
Just get a Roku and you can stream OANN for only $3.99/month.
There's no need for anyone in this day and age to pay hundreds of dollars a month for cable or satellite.
Their accountants likely do. Apparently the DirecTV deal constituted 90% of their revenues.
Roku is a free streaming type service. Many new TVs come with Roku. On it I have downloaded streaming services that allow me to watch dozens of old shows for free (with commercials) You don’t even need Roku it self. If you Google Pluto TV and click on the link you will find their service.
ustvgo.tv and it’s free
“Conservative” cable.
Do the commie loons at Variety ever refer to CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc. as “Left-Wing cable?”
Didn’t think so.
“With my Roku...” Yes. I have a Roku tv and have Verizon cable. Roku feeds of wifi in the house and has thousands of options: news, sports, movies. St. Patrick’s in NYC has an excellent Roku channel. OANN and KTLA 5 are both on Roku. OANN is 100 times better than KTLA 5.
I love OAN. You can subscribe to their KlowdTV for nothing. It has got 46 channels and is supported by commercials. We pay a couple bucks a month for a different package which has some advantages. I am not really sure what they are. Unfortunately, you need to have "high speed internet".
If you have a smart TV download the Pluto app OAN is on there along with Blaze,America First and some other conservative news channels.
Agreed....Kodi is just too confusing for some people.
Like an old Johnny Rivers song from the 70's... "The Only Thing PERMANENT is CHANGE"
Suggest you download OAN’s app. Smart TV? Download
ROKU user, download. We once subscribed to Direct TV.
No longer, ROKU has been as good as (if not better!) Samsung Smart + ROKU = a wide range of tv, free.
Don’t you still need to be subscribed to a basic cable service to stream on Roku? Or Tivo? Or FireTV?
No, you just need high speed internet access. MY wife and I have been streaming for years now.
Yeah, piratebay and all. But to legally stream on channels, you pretty much have to pay for a sub.
This ‘free’ thing... Where, how? I don’t believe what you people are saying. There’s pluto.net, but that has only a few channels.
https://www.oann.com/wheretowatch/
That has only subs. If it’s illegal streams, just say the source.
We have no basic cable service. Samsung Smart TV + cheapest ROKU device (ball park figure $60 - it’s the stick). We choose our favored apps on either tv and/or Roku and awaaaay
we go. There are apps on ROKU that work hand in hand with cable companies, but who needs them? There’s a lot to be said about the selection available for free.
Streaming channels offered:
https://channelstore.roku.com/browse
The only ‘free’ channels about about 6 or 7. Most need a basic cable sub to stream for ‘free’.
You don’t need the $60 stick, it’s the service that’s where the money is. And I bet you login to a paid service to get OAN or any other actual channel.
Those are illegal pirated channels. I don’t really care heh, but that’s what they are.
Please don’t sucker people saying they are free. They are charged subscriptions. Maybe only 4 or 5 or less a month, but they are not ‘free’. Most need a basic cable sub on top of the extra cost too.
