SUPREME COURT STRIKES DOWN OSHA VACCINE MANDATE
BREAKING: The Supreme Court BLOCKS the federal government's COVID-19 vaccine-or-test requirement for large workplaces. The court ALLOWS a vaccine mandate for workers at federally funded health care facilities to take effect nationwide.— SCOTUSblog (@SCOTUSblog) January 13, 2022
Kavanaugh’s a beer-guzzling bum. Barrett, I have more hope for, but not a whole lot.
Roberts? Well, never mind...
They split nothing, it’s a very limited carve-out. Federally funded healthcare workers.
They didn’t split the baby.
Deep State had just decided to take the slower road to killing it.
Separate case, iirc
Wait for the executive order kids attending fed funded schools comes up. I’m sure Brandon’s crew is working on it right now.
I saw this stuff coming last Winter. I was close to retiring anyhow, but this vaccine business and the pressure on us to get it was powerful. I knew last February that it was the end for me.
I got out of the hospital work. I really did not want to, but there is no way that I would submit to an unproved shot, not with my medical history.
“Resignations are now in order.”
Don’t hold your breath
And every health care facility in the country accepts Medicare. They couldn't stay in business if they didn't.
INACCURATE NEWS ALERT!
As I understand it, the Supreme Court has NOT ruled on either case. It agreed to allow a mandatory stay. That means the court found that plaintiffs were likely enough to prevail that the greater harm would be caused by failing to issue a stay. Because the issue is so grave, the court ruling included quite a legal justification, but this justification could theoretically be outweighed by an argument as yet unheard.
So then the Biden mandate that all companies and contractors doing business with the federal government must have their employees vaccinated still stands? Since the Federal government is the CUSTOMER?
Come to Upstate NY.
If this isn’t collapsed, I don’t want to see it when it does.
And I’m not just talking staffing problems. Horrific waits. Lack of staffed beds. Crappy care...
I’ll bet medical mistakes are through the roof...
On a you pay the Danegeld you never get rid of the Dane. The Feds have stolen the souls of many a State, municipal government and private entity who accepted federal grants. The Constitutional division of powers means nothing when States sell their jurisdiction for 30 pieces of silver.
Effectively, almost ALL medical facilities are federally funded. The federal government is the largest payer of medical care, and unless a hospital or clinic wants to refuse Medicare, Medicaid, FEHB, Tricare and others, they are covered by the mandate. Even private networks and HMO's accept this money, especially from their patients over 65.
I told y’all kavenaugh was an a hole from day one. And not because he fooled around at dunken high school parties. Because he was a liar in the Vince foster Case. Destroyed the reputation of an honest witness to cover for the Clintons. And just a general a hole. And Trump ironically can’t hire well.
well I know this for sure, it sure postponed Jen’s 3pm presser so someone can explain things to her in case a logical question slips thru.
All hospitals and clinics are impacted if they take Medicare or Medicaid patients
They always vote as a block absolutely no thought for legal reasons anything just whatever is politically expedient every liberal should be impeached
These justices seem to have no ability to research the effectiveness of treatments. I’m not reassured at all. No way they should require an ineffective or dangerous vaccine for a receding disease.
I got news for ya - if you live in this country, under this fascist government, you’re a slave. This has been so since the first Civil War. The Constitution means jack sh*t, and has meant jack sh*t since 1864.
