Tell me all the female combat heroes from day one through Vietnam?

I know Bro, I was in Vietnam too and then a later tour in the field artillery. When the Army/military allowed females in the combat arms our readiness went downhill quickly.

Females have their place in the military but only in a support capacity.

Howdy, luvie.

Was it another cool day or did it warm back up a bit?

Sunny and 52 here so it was a pretty nice day.

Howdy, Kathy.

It was pretty nice today and will be again tomorrow, though tomorrow will be cloudy. The chill settles back in Friday.

With all the snow you’ve had, it warming up probably makes the streets a lot of “fun” to drive on. Slushy and slippery.

Hey there, radu!

Gosh that sounds really nice after what you’ve been through! I hope you get a few more of those before the next cold front blows through your area.

lt was nice here, too. It got up to 67. ~~ducking~~ LOL! The coldest day this week will be Saturday at a high of 47. Not hard winter here yet. Maybe it won’t. I just hope we don’t get Deep Freeze redux. Ugh.

Just one more nice day. A cold front comes through late tomorrow and drops us back into the 40s for Friday. The weekend’s cold front is the one I’m keeping an eye on. Bella’s month is up Monday for her asthma shot but I’m going to see if they’ll let her get it Friday, just in case I can’t get over there Monday. She’s ready for it now and I’d hate for her to have to wait.
If things don’t get as bad as they think they will, that will be fine with us!

Your 67 sounds really nice. I don’t think we’ll see temps like that for a while.

I hope they can take Bella early. If she’s ready now, she’ll be miserable by next week. It would be even better if you could give her the shots. Although, she’d probably rip your arm off. LOL!

“They” keep saying that something really super cold is coming at the end of the month, similar to last year’s terrible cold with a high of like 2, and I’m hoping whoever is saying that is totally wrong!

Pretty much the same here...below zero, up to freezing, and back down again. I hate this roller coaster!

I hope they’ll tke her too. She’s miserable right now. I don’t know what’s in the air that has her fired up but it’s bothering me as well. We seem to react to the same airborne whatevers. LOL

I’m a bit too squeamish about needles to be able to give her shots even if they’d let me.

I hope they’re wrong about the super-cold blast at the end of the month but we’re overdue for a winter like that down here.

Yeah, I probably couldn’t do it, either. LOL! And I’m NOT squeamish about needles. I just don’t like being medicated.

I hope you remain overdue for that kind of weather. It sux!

Getting stuck doesn’t bother me so much. The thought of sticking the cats does though. It’s one of the main reasons I decided being a veterinarian wouldn’t work out well. That and putting animals to sleep.

If we get an arctic winter this year ..... that’s what long johns are for. LOL I’d prefer mine stay folded up in the drawer but they’re ready if needed. If it’s gonna do it, let’s get it over and done with.

Time for me to head out. Republican women’s meeting in the morning and I still have a few things to do before going to bed. Catch ya tomorrow.

Yes, I don’t think I could put an animal to sleep. My son worked for a vet for a short time when he was in college, and I think that’s why he quit. I never asked, but I always just felt it became too hard to think about.

See ya tomorrow. Enjoy the meeting. Find some solutions for this crazy world, ok? :)

Good morning, lightman...has your weather settled down yet?

I’m getting tired of the up and down here. And I did make it past hump day. Hurrah!
