Killing the filibuster and pushing this “voting” rights bill through has the potential to destabilize the country. This would almost ensure a dominant China for the rest of our lives.

Thankfully, Schumer is the weakest majority leader in the Senate that we have seen in a very long time.
He puts out stuff multiple times a day trying to be relevant and nobody really listens beyond a cherry-picked point here or there.

As pissed off as we all get (me too) with the Senate it was created by the founders to be a stick in the mud. We would be far better off if we had stuck with the founders original idea that legislatures appoint the Senators but regardless it is still functioning as designed.
What he means is that failure to ensure that we are able to cheat on each and every election in the country, from here on out, is not an option.
