Oh, stop it. Noem was completely right in withdrawing part of the law the first time around because it would easily have been challenged. This is much better written and more effective.

Obviously, she was motivated to try again not only because of her own opinions, but because of support from the voters for a good policy protecting real women’s sports and activities. So somehow it’s a bad thing that she listens to the voters? I thought that was what politicians were supposed to do.

Read your bio. I see the problem. You want a woman, any woman, even one as flawed as KM in the big boy chair.

Quit thinking with your X chromosome. Open your eyes. She is called McRomBush for a reason.

On what grounds?
And what makes you think they wont challenge every other sane legislation?

This is much better written and more effective.

And the far left crazies are still trashing it and will challenge it in court like they almost always do.

I was never critical her for allegedly “botching” this whole thing in the first place.

There is absolutely no reason for a state government to get involved in an issue where the alleged “victims” of an unjust policy involving a business or school have been totally silent in their own defense.

Nowhere is this more apparent than in the ongoing farce involving the University of Pennsylvania dude who is swimming against female competitors. UPenn is an Ivy League school, which means the women forced to compete against him aren’t even going to school on athletic scholarships. They can all just quit and start their own swim team.

And yet you haven’t heard a peep of protest from any of these women, and as far as I know there hasn’t been a single one of them who quit the team and stopped competing against the dude.

There’s no need for normal people to even get involved here.

It's a terrible thing she failed to listen to voters to start off with, on an issue as important as this one.

Hate to be the one to break it to you but women politicians suck just as much as men. Some are even worse than men. Some non politician women are just as evil as men. Your vaginas credit you nothing.

I didn't look at the allegedly problematic provisions of the first law in any detail. However, I will say that judging a law by its intent, rather than by the actual language, is a common mistake. So, just because the first law had the right general idea does not necessarily mean it was a good law. Good laws can be sunk by poor drafting.

I don't care enough right now to grave dig that original law to see if there was actually a problem. But she is apparently pushing this one, so I'll wait until the dust settles to see if she was right.
