John Roberts questions administration's concession COVID mandate is a 'work-around' Supreme Court's majority's questions lean away from Biden's demands

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Friday cited the Biden administration's admission that his COVID mandate for Americans is a "work-around," a path that essentially goes around what the law would require or allow.

His comments came as the six-member majority of the court that appear to be more conservative hinted about their decision in the pending case that challenges Joe Biden's demands that health care workers, and workers at large companies, can be forced to accept the experimental COVID shots.

Fox News noted that the justices seemed "split along ideological lines on vaccine requirements affecting nearly 100 million workers."

The three liberals on the court, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Stephen Breyer entered the courtroom with an agenda to affirm a decision that would allow Biden to do what he wants.

I heard some comments from breyer and sotomayor yesterday talking about kids and those that have died due to CONvid. Do they not have clerks that could find out the actual datat? Not that that should be in consideration anyway. First, there's is no "law" in question (which must be a surprise to some). The question of brandons authority should be a resounding NO!. The government does not have the authority to freakin' MANDATE' the citizens anything. It is a YUGE infringement on citizens free will. Butt, the damage is done now that so many companies have implemented their own conditions of employment on people. They likely won't rescind them now. To win favor with the administration and possible future govt contracts? Or because they're management are fookin' idjits.

despite what taxman-Roberts was instructed on Epstein Island
or in Malta, Article Six protects the American people.

there can be no ‘rule making’ or legislation

The U.S. Constitution doesn’t subscribe to the federal government at least half of the power they wield through unelected bureaucrats burrowed within scores of extra constitutional agencies. Burdening Americans with thousands upon thousands of regulations.

The federal government has become a behemoth that is out of control. Too wasteful, too expensive, too intrusive, too controlling.

Sotomayor is beyond ignorant. She is hopelessly stupid. It is a waste of time trying to educate her. She really has no capacity to learn anything. Breyer is a doctrinaire leftist who is declining intellectually as he ages. He knows not to remain silent during arguments and has demonstrated over the last few years a marked decline in his ability to argue logically. Kagan remains a loyal leftist ideologue and nothing much more. Her positions never deviate from the party line.

Those clowns are gonna spend the next 8 years slowly and leisurely deliberating the obvious.. while the country goes to h%#l!!
In the meantime, the whole world already knows the basic immunological facts and we’ve known it since our 6th grade Biology class.

And I think sotomayor said there were a hundred thousand children in danger right now. But, those are NOT considerations in the question at hand. Simply, does brandon, or anyone, have the constitutional authority to mandate anything on us. NO!

It would be boring to be a D judge. Whatever a D politician wants to do you vote for. Otherwise no. There is really no reasoning, as the decisions are already made. You could have rotating eight graders do their job.

The one thing Roberts might be thinking....Biden might think he can order every single member of the government...including the Supreme Court Justices, can be ordered to vax-up.

Makes one wonder just how “highly educated” they really are and just how valuable college degrees are in a lot of cases.

Sounds like if the government gets it’s way anybody who participates in Medicare and Medicate will have to get vaccinated. The government lawyer seemed insistent on that when questioned by Clarence Thomas.

majority of the court that appear to be more conservative hinted

When will the majority of the Supreme Court become CONSTITUTIOALLY MINDED? The standard is not "conservative" whatever that means (and the meaning is different with different people and changes all the time).

The legal standard for the federal government has, is, and always will be the U.S. Constitution, the Supreme law of the land over the feds, meaning over the President, Congress, AND the Supreme Court. I don't count the unconstitutional and illegal "fourth branch of government, the Administrative/Regulatory State", because that needs to disappear altogether.

I'm glad the Supreme Court seems to be leaning against the criminal Biden's unconstitutional and illegal vaccine mandates. But the REASON for their decisions is all important. The Constitution as written and originally understood and intended applied to the facts is the only valid basis for a federal question Supreme Court decision.

NOT basing their decisions on that clear constitutional standard is why they have made such bad and deadly decisions the worst of which is probably Roe v. Wade. But again, since the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land (Art. 6, Cl. 2) over the Supreme Court, a clearly unconstitutional Supreme Court decision like Roe v. Wade doesn't trump the Constitution but rather should be rejected, nullified, and overturned by another Brach and/or the States accompanied by a constitutionally-based rationale as to why the decision is rejected.

So far, from what I heard, they want those working at facilities that receive money from mediscare and medicaid to be GMO employees. Haven’t heard the demand for recipients of their services being required to. But if probably isn’t far off. Some hospitals are already refusing surgeries unless the incoming is GMO’d prior to. Disgusting! VA? Social Security?

I could see letting the president in an emergency “temporarily” do certain things, UNTIL the congress has time to decide to actually give him that power for the duration.

But our president is NOT a king, and he can’t bypass the legislative process forever under the excuse of... it’s an emergency.
