The head of OneAmerica insurance said the death rate is up a stunning 40% from pre-pandemic levels among working-age people.
“We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business – not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “The data is consistent across every player in that business.”
OneAmerica is a $100 billion insurance company that has had its headquarters in Indianapolis since 1877. The company has approximately 2,400 employees and sells life insurance, including group life insurance to employers in the state.
Davison said the increase in deaths represents “huge, huge numbers,” and that’s it’s not elderly people who are dying, but “primarily working-age people 18 to 64” who are the employees of companies that have group life insurance plans through OneAmerica.
“And what we saw just in third quarter, we’re seeing it continue into fourth quarter, is that death rates are up 40% over what they were pre-pandemic,” he said.
“Just to give you an idea of how bad that is, a three-sigma or a one-in-200-year catastrophe would be 10% increase over pre-pandemic,” he said. “So 40% is just unheard of.”

Forced treatment and insane health care policies.
Just wait for the long term consequences.
This is our wake-up call.
Funny how they’re not saying what these people are dying from, just that they died. 🤔
and Fauci and the chicoms are running around free as birds.
Are all the unvaccinated illegals the “replacements?
I personally no longer trust the medical professionals? and their hospitals
They all died from inactivity. The biggest unreported issue is trying to get the TV remote out of their hands, and then getting the stiff to lay down flat instead of looking like they were sitting on the couch for a long time after rigor mortis took over.
You beat me to it. Cause of death is not reported in the linked story.
I wonder how much of the increase is related to the legalization/decriminalization of drug use?
How much is fentanyl and opioids?
Murder? Democrat America is setting modern era records.
Suicide?
Changing demographics? We’d need to see data on ethnicity and immigration status.
It’s been a highly stressful couple of years and that’s not going to change any time soon. Sorting out stress-related deaths gets tricky fast.
It’s only a health care policy if people comply.
There might be a correlation like with the military troops returning from the middle east. Lots of vehicular accident deaths. We lost several in very high speed motor cycle accidents. The E-3s and E-4s came home thinking they were invincible. One crashed his bike at 125 mph.
People not happy with mandated lifestyle changes might have the same mindset.
Group employer life insurance: Another industry for the taxpayers to bail out now?
Yes. But for insurance companies, it does not really matter. If they have an insurance policy and they die, they are expected to pay.
Cause of death?
Well, they might be healthier in the future than those with the Jab. It is possible that is the outcome of this.
Bill Gates must be cheering.
The insurance company CEO is obviously very guarded and circumspect about that. He did say “they are not all dying from COVID,” though. He probably knows the truth but doesn’t want Biden & Co. knocking on his door.
It may not be clear.
We shouldn't assume that the only immediate risk of the jab might be death due to a stroke or heart attack.
If this shot compromises one's immune system, the cause of death could be listed on a death certificate as almost anything.
A lot of people don’t.
My trust in the medical profession has dropped from low all the way into negative territory.
+1
Though, I can’t think of a better time to NOT be working.
Yes. Look at Australia.
I remember reading a story from WWII. The allies bombed a city and the germans made the pows clean up the rubble. The germans then made them move the rubble a second time but this time almost half of the pows died.
Why? there was no point in moving the rubble the second time. There was no purpose in work and thus no purpose in life.
The moral of the story. Moving rubble will kill you.
