the seriousness of the pandemic should not be determined by the number of cases, but by the number of deaths per capita - the mortality rate. For those under 65, the mortality rate is extremely low, I mean really really low. So protect the elderly and remove all restrictions for those 64 and under.

What a surprise! We have Omicron, a variant of the common cold with similar symptoms that causes Covid PCR tests to come back positive. Fun fact... Omicron like the common cold is a distant weak cousin of the Fauci/CCP virus and most likely not even a direct descendant.
The inappropriately used PCR tests for Covid have now become completely irrelevant to the so called “case count”. Maybe now they will have to call people with a positive test and no or few symptoms what they actually are? Nothing!

I just got Covid. A few days ago - Freezing chills and fever. Aches intensified on day 2, specifically my Kidney area which still hurts. Fever down after three days. Not much coughing. at least so far.
If the body aches would subside, I’d be feeling pretty good.
I have only taken a Zinc pill daily. Not even Tylenol - I just haven’t had a headache and I want to heal mostly on my own.
They went wild over the “news” that cases are rising, but deliberately and intentionally downplayed the fact that for most, the symptoms are a common cold.
“Little O” should be encouraged to be spread. Getting it confers immunity to itself and delta. That way we’ll be soon over this nightmare.

According to Worldometer, Covid deaths worldwide have been declining for about three weeks, even as cases skyrocket.
Hopefully Omicron is signaling the waves of variants to come will become less virulent with each wave. The Delta variant seemed to be quite virulent and Biden did nothing but watch the bodies fall. He is the polar opposite of the proactive Trump would have been warp speeding therapeutics for Delta. Biden did nothing. We are on our own

well, all the case rate data for the whole “epidemic” is now useless.
Since the PCR test is finally acknowledged to NOT differentiate between other flus and COVID.
So have NO reasonable data set on case rates. Not at all. And can’t reconstruct it.
