I just got Covid. A few days ago - Freezing chills and fever. Aches intensified on day 2, specifically my Kidney area which still hurts. Fever down after three days. Not much coughing. at least so far.
If the body aches would subside, I’d be feeling pretty good.
I have only taken a Zinc pill daily. Not even Tylenol - I just haven’t had a headache and I want to heal mostly on my own.

sounds like the side effects some get from the Vax
They don’t count those of any type of “sickness” though
I just got covid too—on Dec 25th. Two days of chills and slight fever, and now just an odd symptom of sore eyes. No cough. Positive rapid antigen screening test.
My teen daughter got it two days later. Worse fever and a cough. No test (but testing is kind of pointless anyway—I only did because it was Christmas Day and I wanted to know it was covid before cancelling everything).
I’m glad we are getting this particular week—before school starts up again.

I probably had the original crud just before Thanksgiving 2019.
One of my original symptoms was severe Kidney area pain and even blood in my urine. That was treated with antibiotics and the blood in my urine disappeared. My PPO probably spent a few thousand $’s on every test known to them, and nothing showed up.
I showed up for a few hours at our annual Thanksgiving feast and went home exhausted. A few days later an Adult son had all types of symptoms, which we now know as Covid. He lost a lot of weight and missed a lot of work.
We never received a diagnosis, and that son and I have the same primary care doc at our PPO. When our son asked this doctor if we had the same crud. The doctor said maybe. A couple of months later, Covid became a household word.
