The Kennedy Family, and (possibly) others.
He is a Hollywood type, don’t ya know.
*sigh* there are so few “Hollywood Patriots”
these days. AND, so few really good movies.
The listing of “STARS to watch” is almost
nonexistent.
A razor blade and hot tub of water would be better if he wants to help humanity.
Agreed. Credit where due.
I’m curious what $25k gets for a tiny house.
Arnold’s $250,000 is about enough to outfit maybe 2 tiny homes in LA not 25.

Since there is no electricity, sewer, and running water, they don’t need the appliances. makes them cheap. That’s what his pocket change bought.
“I say give credit where credit is due. If all the other grotesquely rich politicians and entertainers did the same thing, a lot more of our homeless vets would be off the streets.
It doesn’t make him any less a RINO or liberal tool, but it was still a good thing for him to do.”
Agreed.
I wonder what Klaus Schwab's house looks like.
Pretty nice office
I wonder how many are really vets? You see the sign holders always claim to be homeless vets.
$10,000 for a tiny house is a huge rip-off. Go to Lowe’s, Home Depot, maybe Menards and you can buy a bigger storage shed with windows for half that. A wardrobe and bed should cost maybe $300.
How about detox centers and have them hit the pavement to get jobs? Let he that will not work not eat.
90% + are homeless due to drugs, alcohol abuse and mental problems. This enables them to continue. Not to mention the phonies dressed in camo begging on the street corners. Do not give cash, ever.
...and the car salesman was played perfectly by the late, great Bill Paxton.
“towards” purchasing 25 tiny homes.
Right, because $250k will actually build maybe 1 unit.
That's what he'll be remembered for.
Nice gesture on Schwarzenegger’s part. Now let’s ask for a follow up and see that houses are really real and being used by vets. (Not that non-profits ever renege on their promises or anything.../s)

Arnolds houses are painted inside and out, insulated, heated and have AC and beds/couch and they are trimmed out inside.
The cost also includes the delivery and set up and probably lots of other little things.
Reading the comments on this thread and you can come to a conclusion: Most Freepers are negative nellies who cannot see a single positive through their narrowed, old, single minded foolish eyes.
The guy did something good. More good than I’ve done this year. I would bet, more good than most everyone has done.
Recognize good when you see it. Be thankful. It may just spur that Scrooge to do better next year.
If you have ever been around the “ homeless” you would know these tiny houses will be trashed in days....
Exactly. Why is it people continuously attribute normal healthy behaviors to the homeless, especially ‘vets’? Virtually all the homeless in this country are homeless due to unhealthy attitudes and behaviors, and especially mental illness (the real root cause).
Most of them do not want any help, they want cash to continue their drug and alcohol habits, that is all they want. Giving them little homes is ridiculous and they would be considered unlivable due to terrible sanitation within a week.
Putting the ‘Veteran’ modifier on this is manipulative, because that word appeals to many people simply on an emotional basis, and you see it in the replies. Homeless ‘Vets’ need the help more than normal homeless they think, but the root cause of the homelessness is the same, mental illness leading to drug and alcohol abuse. Why can’t they get a job? That’s easy to answer, they don’t want a job, and they can’t hold down a job anyway being drunk, drugged up and disorderly.
This is not a lack of compassion, only that most homeless would be in Sanitariums 60 years ago, that’s how the mentally ill were kept off the street. Now that funny farms are considered inhumane, we have to live with these people in our midst, dangerous psychos who like living in an alley as long as they have some Mad Dog 20/20 to keep them satiated for a couple of hours.
