A body positivity website has created free "Don't Weigh Me" cards for patients who find stepping on the scale at the doctor's office stressful.
The cards, created by California-based More-Love.org, are available for free to individuals, excluding the cost of postage. There is also the option for businesses to purchase the cards, at $35 per 100 cards.
The cards read: "Please don't weigh me unless it's (really) medically necessary," adding "If you really need my weight, please tell me why so that I can give you my informed consent," as shown in photographs on More-Love.org:

Stupid to the nth squared. Weight measurement with any visit to the doctor is a good and simple metric to check for changes. A rapid weight loss could be due to diet changes, or it might signal an underlying condition.
“Get your weight guessed right here”.
“Please tell me I’m too skinny and need to gain more weight.”
A huge opportunity was missed with Covid to help folks understand how obesity can kill them…
..but like transgenderism, helping people deal with health issues is forbidden and racist…
…and white supremacist…
…or something.
Does Stacey Abrams get the 1000 card discount ?
Good luck with that surgery where you aren't sedated enough to say so.......because you lied about your weight.
Yes, some meds are that critical.
Are these cards for people so huge they can’t speak?
Enserio? These heifers also avoid mirrors at any cost, too? Okay-so if they obviously are overweight, they get sent to a nutritionist, no matter if they get on the scale or not-do they want to have a card for that, too?
Yup. I want a “dont vaxx me dude” card..
I could see where it would hurt your feelings if you stepped on the scale and it said, “ONE AT A TIME PLEASE.”
Doing a total assessment involves getting the patient’s full
status and history.
Weight plays a big part of a patient’s health.
It contributes to a variety of problems.
This Karen movement is not healthy for the patients. It’s just
another effort to take full responsibility off people who make
poor choices, and have no self-control.
None of us likes revealing how heavy we are. In the interest
of getting better, just answer the damned questions.
I’m overweight right now, so this goes for me as well.
As for those who have a medical condition they can’t control
that impacts their weight, it’s still important to let the
person trying to help you do their job, fully informed.
How do they expect to got proper dosages of meds?
A Karen is a woman who tries to over enforce rules and regulations.
ME: What!? No pizza? No burgers?
DOCTOR: No fatty, just don’t eat.
Scales in every Dr’s office support this.
You are suppose to take blood pressure with the arm raised. no one does it. changes my blood pressure by at least 10 points on the top number
right before I surgery I asked for it to be taken with my arm raised. the guy asked why. I couldnt believe it. when i told him why he didnt believe me. he said..okay..we will test your theory
and Voila...sure enough...
For the "Don't Quantify My Obesity (and Gravity is Racist BTW)" crowd, apparently.
