Far too much reliance has been placed upon “vaccines” as the “answer” when this approach does not even address the question.

The response to this is easy enough, change the strategy to treatment and cure. We already know more than enough to successfully treat the disease, and with treatment, comes cure, and with cure, acquired immunity. The virus we shall not eliminate, but we can nullify it, and keep it contained to manageable levels. But first, there shall have to be much more efficacy for vaccines than we now have, which means that a REAL “killed virus” vaccine shall have to be developed, not just an mRNA vaccine, which somehow still allows a great many “breakthrough” Wuhan flu patients to be showing up at testing stations and in emergency rooms. Treatment is simple enough, monoclonal antibody injections, or a protocol that increases the zinc ion concentration in the blood, along with a suitable Zn++ ionophore, quercetin, Vitamin D3, or even (horrors), hydroxychloroquine. Maybe also ivermectin, which is NOT a veterinary-only medication, but has been approved for human usage for literally decades.

Could be a success. Depends on what data one uses. “7 day average deaths” is one sort of data selection. Another is total deaths to date.

I'd say the real “success” however one measures a pandemic, as the strains weaken, is that the pandemic hasn't measured up to the two year's drumbeat of hysteria.

In plain English, over almost TWO years, the percentage of deaths “from” and “with” is less than one quarter of one percent of the population. Averaged per year, half that percentage.
So oddly you might be right. We're seeing some form of success. And Antonius might be right too. The question is not which data set, but which topic.
As the pandemic wanes, is the virus a success? Neither 7-day averages nor cumulative percentage deaths seems to answer that. What will answer over time is watching the VAERS and European equivalent deal with deaths and other adverse reactions to the experimental injections. There is a rather good collection of data about COVID deaths and growing data about "vaccines " deaths. Time will tell.

The vaccinated sure are becoming a problem. They need to be in a government camp someplace.
He scared me with the bumpstock bans and terrified me reatricting the ultimate freedoms with lockdowns and masks. He has doubled down on the vax every time he speaks. He does not believe in individual freedoms.
The left could finish off the second ammendment with him as prez. He is their best advocate for never let a crisis go to waste.
