Judge sympathizes with man who shot father in head

A man who shot his father will not serve any jail time after a judge ruled that the murder was an act of “love.” Glenn Stratton, of Castlemaine, Victoria, in Australia claimed his father, Colin Stratton, asked to be killed after his request for assisted suicide was denied. 81-year-old Colin had been diagnosed with bowel cancer, and already supported assisted suicide after his wife needed intensive care following a stroke. He felt like he wanted to die on his own terms, his general practitioner told the court, but there would be a wait for him to receive the suicide pill. He tried to buy one online, but the Victorian Supreme Court was told that it ended up being a scam.

My neighbour took himself out with a 22 round straight through the heart. Not a lot of blood. I think through the chest is a better option.

Sort of an uncomfortably written piece with an incongruous twist of opinion at the end, but thank you for posting.

If you think you might want to go this way, lay it up now.

Someone should probably remind the judge that it is the law, not his feelings, that determines guilt or innocence.

Poor guy.

I’ve seen the complete destruction of both spirit and body on several cancer sufferers. It is completely devestating for families and friends.

Gotta agree with the judge on this.
The guy needs counseling and prayer, not prison.

Is this the current legal status of dealing with relatives who have received the jab but still got Covid and are incessantly bitching and moaning about how I didnt get jab or get sick?

Seems legit !!

In the U.S. we have hospice, which will drug you into a stupor, whereupon you’ll eventually die of dehydration and inanition. I’m not necessarily being critical of the process, but there you have it.

Not to worry. we don’t have to endure this much longer. Biden has declared “this will be the Winter of Death for the unvaccinated”. We should all get our affairs in order. After all, he has access to top secret info and the finest scientific minds in the country. We also know this will happen because he said under his breath “So let it be written, so let it be done”.

>>>Obviously you didn’t read the article.<<<

“Stratton was elderly and ill, a judge saw it as an act of “love” to help him to end his life.”

You go along with this? Okay, in a few years maybe your son will put you out of this world because you are an inconvenience to him - like they abort unwanted kids today.

This kind of tripe is only trying to make assisted suicide (murder) acceptable.

The date of my death is determined by my sovereign God, not my family members. And if I should have to endure a time of suffering, that same God will give me the grace I need to go through it. It won’t be long before I’ll be eternally cured of whatever ails me.

You are one sick puppy not worthy of invoking God’s name.

He did it wrong. When my mother died of cancer she was under at home hospice care. My sisters, both nurses, gave my mother her morphine. They gave her a lot. A whole lot. Lots and lots. Nobody complained. Watching someone you love die of cancer over a period of several weeks is a most unpleasant experience.
