Former President Trump said on Sunday that he has received a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot.
The former president was asked by former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly during a speaking tour if he had received a booster shot for his coronavirus inoculation.
"Yes," Trump responded, sparking a reaction from the crowd gathered in Dallas.

That sounds to me like a money-making operation from Pfizer. Think of the money involved. A booster shot, that’s tens of billions of dollars.”

Maybe some MAGA recall hearing or seeing Trump say this in the past..

I think everyone gets that part of it; what I don’t like about the groupthink on this website is the derision aimed at ‘ ‘normal people’ that get vaccinated, people making the same choice that Trump has made...
I’ve seen a few posters here wishing harm to other posters who have admitted to getting vaxxed...

personally, I think doctors and nurses have overhyped the dangers of covid, and have provided cover for devious politicians to accrue power and control; I think they knew perfectly well how harmful the covid mitigation policies have been, and to save face and gain influence with the politicos, they have looked the other way...

The ones doing that are probably upset that they’ve been either demonized or call idiots for being against it. I’m unvaxxed but all of my loved ones WERE VAXXED, and it just breaks my heart knowing what I do. Divisiveness is not the correct way to pursue this, understanding and knowledge is the way forward. Those of us who have a better knowledge of things shouldn’t ever get self righteous or sanctimonious, it just shows a character flaw in assuming such an attitude. If people claim they are about love and not about petty differences, we need to find a way forward and not exacerbate these differences in our understanding of what is going on here.
America is about 250 - 300 Trillion in debt (including underfunded liabilities). I think Trump understands that if 65+ year olds are not culled there will be no USA. Notice…cutting Government is NEVER an option
I haven’t seen a report on what happens if you’re vaccinated and then catch and recover from delta or omicron, but it seems to me that you would be in the position of someone who has recovered naturally, and should have gained natural immunity. But that’s just my guess and there could be some factor that I’m not aware of that could interfere with it. Now that you have me curious about it I’ll be watching for what I can find on PubMed.
One problem that can exist with relying on natural immunity is that it’s possible to recover from covid without developing robust antibodies. A weak immune system or maybe having had a mild case could fail to train your immune system.

Better to take the MAbs and recover than worry about the herd. There’s a window that closes if your blood O2 drops too low. 94% used to be the cutoff. My friend who died was hospitalized and ventilated when his O2 fell to 74%. He caught covid before vaccines or MAbs were available.
It’s from studies at PubMed or Nature or some similar site. I looked some up after hearing a doctor say that recovering via monoclonal antibodies wouldn’t leave you with the benefit of having developed your own antibodies. So I wanted to see if that was accurate and apparently it is.
To get antibodies you need to recover naturally from having caught the virus, which brings all of the risks of the vaxxes plus a lot more, or you get them from letting the vaccines train your immune system. If you take the MAbs, their antibodies do all the work without training your immune system. But you have a high chance of surviving with the MAbs so I would use them over trying to gain natural immunity.

I would, particularly if it was being pushed instead of REGEN-COV-2 monoclonal antibodies.
If some doctor said, "we'd like to give you the Trump treatment" and hang a one-time IV blitz of REGEN-COV-2, remdesivir, and dexamethasone, plus an MVI, I probably wouldn't exclude any.
But remdesivir alone? In a hospital intubated? No way. You're a lab rat at that point, purely a statistic.
