"And it could lead to even more sea level rise, up to 10 feet"

We're All Going To Die!!!!!!!

What total BS!! In the last 100 years the sea level has risen less than a foot (8-9 inches).

When the Left gets angry and cusses, they yell, “Doom it”.

Very fashionable...

"...it could lead to even more sea level rise, up to 10 feet,
if it draws the surrounding glaciers with it.”

Don't laugh - those are TALL glaciers - I mean, thier peaks reach a
third of the way to the Moon!

Okay - NOW you can laugh.

I recall back in high school my physics teacher pointing out to us young skulls full of mush that water actually CONTRACTS when heated up from a frozen state. Which is why up north you need to make sure there's enough anti freeze in your car's cooling system or the radiator could rupture because water EXPANDS when it freezes.

Sell the fear. When Miami, Nawlins, the Obama mansion and the Bahamas disappear, we’ll know something.

A glacier could never raise the global sea level 2 feet, and some high school math could prove that.

It would be like adding a drop of water to a swimming pool.

Is Sara and her warming cohorts trying to tell us warmer ocean currents around the south pole—at depth—are so warm that they’re rapidly melting ice ? under near freezing water ? Who’s paying your salary ? Bunk, up your ass.

The article also says “floating”, which negates the whole premise because of the aforementioned ice-cube theory of displacement.

Furthermore, a world map shows Florida’s size as a rounding error when compared to the world’s oceans.

I think I read today that Antartica recorded extremely low temps last winter.-—minus 60° day and night. More snow, more ice, less liquid ocean.

Go pound sand. It’s too bad no one will be around to witness their humiliation when all is proven wrong, but that’s their scam, isn’t it ?

Claim That Sea Level Is Rising Is a Total Fraud

Sea levels began to rise 18k years ago at the end of the last glacial period. They have risen about 135 meters since then which is an average of 7.5 millimeters per year. That is an average of 750 mm per century (29.5 inches) which is far more than the average over the last century. As the chart shows most of that rise was over about 8k years ago.

From 1880 to 2000 sea level rose about 20 cm or just under 8 inches. Far less than the nearly 30 inches per century average over the last 18,000 years.

The most recent data from NASA shows a decline in sea level.

Inconvenient: NASA shows global sea level…pausing, instead of rising

This interglacial will last 20 thousand years. It started 10 thousand years ago. The earth has been warming ever since. The earth will continue warming for the next 10 thousand years until the next ice age sets in, due to the Milankovitch cycle.

I can’t find it in an internet search but, because thermal momentum exists, I would bet the earth’s south pole has already significantly surpassed pointing toward the sun at the southern summer solstice.
