The headline of course was very misleading. But the direct quote about there being American Jews who don’t love Israel is basically correct. I’ve seen it personally. They’ll make some mealy mouthed and lukewarm statement of support, and nothing more. Their lukewarm support for Israel is a pittance compared to their seething hatred of Trump.

It they seethe with hatred against Donald Trump, I just about guarantee that their “love” is lukewarm, at best. I’ve seen it myself.

I remember when Trump moved the Embassy to Jerusalem..I went to temple that weekend, a temple near my house..I know the majority of them are Dems but still, I figured, Ok, politics aside they would be thrilled by this news..no, they were FURIOUS, saying this will prevent peace with the Palestinians..and Im thinking “Are you serious, they dont want peace, they want dead Jews”
It is why liberals will believe in socialism, no matter how many hundreds of millions of people, or even billions, will be killed for it and they still believe.

Reality Check - Ashkenazi Jews brought the love of socialism and communism with them from Eastern Europe.
Sephardic Jews coming from the Middle East have never been big fans of social tyranny.

I think most Jews are more secular in nature nowadays than religious. I am not surprised.

Look at Larry David. Even his tv show made fun of (told some truth) of liberal Jews. I admit laughing at the episode when Larry bought a scalped ticked to attend Yom Kippur service and then argued acress pews with his friend over a sandwich.
