The seemingly quick corporate obsession with everything BLM and Woke reminds me of how fast marketing changed after the 1967 “summer of love”. Everything shifted into groovy, hip and mod advertising. It was a reaction to a genuine shift in culture.
The boardrooms of today were banking on BLM and Woke having the same impact on society but it is not turning out that way. This time the culture shift is a manufactured one instead of genuine.
From all the commercials now on TV, if you didn’t know any better, you’d think blacks make up a majority of the country.
You are right in your statement. Salvation Army though is an organization that is not essential. They rely on donations thus mo income.
Also people ought to check which non orbits are helping the illegals cross the borders.

Me too. While SA has never been one of our choice charities, I’ve never passed a bucket without making a donation.
It kind of hurts to walk by this year but they made their bed.

In the last two weeks I’ve received no less than five solicitations from the Salvation Army. I wrote them a nice message across their letter in black marker, stuffed it into their return envelope along with a bunch of other crap, DID NOT put a stamp on it and wrote their address as the return address.
Not only are they wasting money by sending me their solicitations, they also have to pay for the return mail. So sad
