WASHINGTON — The real divide in California has never been between San Francisco in the north and Los Angeles to the south, but rather between the moneyed coast and the hardscrabble inland, where pro-Trump placards abound. Few know that divide as well as Rep. Josh Harder, a native of Turlock, Calif., a town in the state’s Central Valley, where the local brewery is called Dust Bowl.
Harder left Turlock for Stanford, then went to graduate school at Harvard and later returned to California to work in venture capital before coming home and winning a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, then again in 2020, defeating his Republican opponent by a margin wider than the one by which Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in Stanislaus County, which makes up much of the district.

Really screwed.
I suppose Josh Harder is "moderate" by commie standards, but he was only elected on fraudulent coattails.
Almost every hard leftist I know thinks they are moderate!
After all, they believe themselves to be sooooo reasonable/s
Yep, sounds like a Democrat to me.
There’s probably nothing more than I’d like to see than that ghoul Pelosi have to turn over that gavel and go slinking to Ole Joe and ‘splain to him why “he ain’t gonna be President in 2024.”
Howcome these centrist Dems appear only every two years? Are they on some kind of a cycle like locusts? Do they then go back underground or something? If so, how do they manage to vote?
Someone on another thread asked if any of the Democrats are not communists....
I’m still coming up empty.
A moderate is someone who votes 40-60% of the time with Conservatives. There’s no members of the Demonrat caucus that voted less than 81% leftist except for Joe Manchin (he was only 74% leftist, and still a distance away from being a leftist moderate).
Harder scored a 96% leftist rating from the ACU in 2020 (86% leftist in 2019). That puts him in the ultraleft wing of the Demonrat party, which votes in virtual Stalinazi lockstep.

I would prefer to see Democrats kicked to the curb, actually.
The Assistant Democrats, too.
I know what they need, but saying so would get me banned.🙄
Nonsense....the democRATS have all the votes they need. They have perfected the steal and there is simply no way a Republican will ever win again. It will ALWAYS be the democRAT by a few thousand votes to maintain the façade of legitimacy
I hope you are wrong and am afraid you are right.
Turlock is a bay area suburb now.
Democrats don’t even need to win as long as assistant Democrats in the GOP help deliver their Marxist agenda.
And even he is smelling the coffee, probably drawing ire from Nanshy and friends for saying it out loud. But why fear a lame duck leadership. He knows they’re going down.
...neither hot nor cold...
Right along with a short sudden drop. Then they can all be “good commies”.
