President Biden was set to speak with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) Monday afternoon as the Senate moderate continues to hold out against supporting President Biden’s $1.75 trillion Build Back Better Act, which Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) hopes to pass with only Democratic support in the coming weeks.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed the scheduled call hours after CNN reported the two had talked last week, with Biden making clear that he needs Manchin’s vote to help the legislation over the finish line.
According to the report, however, Manchin told the president that he is not ready to say “yes” to the bill just yet, citing ongoing concerns about the size and scope of the legislation.

The Biden blackmail just got more interesting, and more lucrative for Manchin.
The way the Democratic party works is you don’t get party support unless you march in lock step. You don’t get elected unless you get party support since the Hillary Foundation bought the DNC some years ago when they were in a financial crisis.

I’m still always surprised how many in Congress absolutely HATE the USA, work against its interests and just plain want it destroyed. I’m naive that way.
I guess I’m also surprised that Democrats could completely FAKE loving American for decades until it became fashionable to outright HATE America and they all let their masks drop at once.

Sure the dollar number is important...but getting these stupid programs are the key. Once they are in, politicians (on both sides) will feel free to raise the costs as high as they want to.

Research into official documents has revealed the the family of VP Kamala D. Harris committed repeated acts of immigration fraud, including not registering her as a "alien" following her birth on October 20, 1964.
Foreign nationals present in the US on "Student Visas" were not considered "residents" in 1964, and a US born child did not meet the requirements for US citizenship according to laws in effect in 1964. Fraud committed by her parents, allowed Kamala D. Harris to remain in the US (and probably prevented their deportation at that time as well).
