At least 75 federal lawmakers held shares of Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, or Pfizer in 2020. Lawmakers' holding stock in these companies has prompted ethical concerns.
Several other lawmakers traded shares of companies with a direct stake in the pandemic.
Dozens of Republican and Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill have invested in companies that have a direct stake in the nation's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an Insider analysis of federal financial records.
In 2020, at least 13 senators and 35 US representatives held shares of Johnson & Johnson, the medical behemoth that produced the single-shot COVID-19 vaccine that more than 15 million Americans have received.

I got back on twitter recently and am following an account that follows the most prolific stock trader of all times who outperforms Warren Buffet by ten fold. Madame Pelosi. There’s a group of people that just invest in whatever she and her husband invest in and they do quite well.

Then you probably have invested in the same public trading opportunities. Only it was your funds manager or investment brokerage, which you allowed through signed instruments as a responsible broker
and/or fiduciary.
So my guess would be... a probable yes for ANYONE with any type of investment portfolio. Read the fine print... even precious metals.
Except I don’t have the insider information or the ability to change laws to impact my portfolio.

These are all evil people....our elected leaders. Maybe a few are clean, but I’d have to see definite proof.

Nope, I’m a pomofo blue collar guy. No portfolio for people like me. My point was that a dozen or so FReepers defend the jab like they invented the damn thing so they are either leftist plants or have a lot of money riding on the performance of Pfizer/Moderna.
Can’t blame them too much I suppose. Some older folks have their retirement all planned out but with biden, that invested retirement plan ain’t lookin’ too grand at the moment so panic tends to set in. Might as well ride the jab wave and get them theirs. Money rules.
