Demaryius Thomas, the 33-year-old former Pro Bowl wide receiver and Super Bowl champion with the Denver Broncos, has died.
The former NFL star’s death was first reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. DeMarcus Ware, who played with Thomas from 2014 to 2016, wrote on Twitter he was "heartbroken" and posted a photo of himself with the former NFL player.
The cause of Thomas’ death wasn’t immediately known. Police told TMZ Sports Thomas was found dead inside his Georgia home Thursday night. His agents did not immediately respond to an email inquiry from Fox News.
"Preliminary information is that his death stems from a medical issue, and our investigators currently have no reason to believe otherwise," said Officer Tim Lupo, public information officer for the police department in Roswell, Georgia.

He died from having a seizure in the shower. He’s had seizures for years, according to his family who released a statement a short time ago. But please, keep spreading your nonsense rumors.

If you read the reportage from the time of the accident, his injuries were minor, he was treated and released from the hospital within a very short time frame, and he was reported to have made a full recovery.

Yep. Since a car crash in 2019 which apparently left him with a severe head injury, perhaps much worse than doctors knew at the time. That coupled with his career concussions, seems to have done a lot of damage to his brain. RIP.
