A 14-year-old boy carjacked and sexually assaulted an 87-year-old female at knifepoint while she was returning books to the Waukesha Public Library located at 321 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha, sources have told WRN.
UPDATE: WRN can now report that the suspect is the nephew of Milwaukee Common Council President and Milwaukee Mayoral candidate Cavalier Johnson.
Cavalier Johnson did respond to our request for comment:
This afternoon, I learned of an incident that occurred in Waukesha County on November 30 where a member of my extended family is accused of a horrific crime. I am saddened and troubled by this news.
First and foremost, my heartfelt prayers go out to the victim and her family. No one should ever have to deal with what she is going through. I hope and pray for her full healing and recovery.
If what is alleged is found to be true, the accused should absolutely be held accountable for these actions.
No family deserves to endure what this family and this victim are going through, and I am praying for healing and recovery for all concerned.
We asked Waukesha County District Attorney Sue Opper whether she plans to charge the teenager as an adult, as the law allows. She responded, “I cannot comment on this case. Please contact the Juvenile Court for permission to obtain any charging documents or petitions that have been filed.”
Waukesha police have been extremely tight-lipped about the incident, saying the community doesn’t need “more bad news.”
The suspect, who according to sources, recently moved to Waukesha from Milwaukee, WRN has learned. “He has looked up to his uncle who is in politics his whole entire life inspiring to be just like him,” the boy’s mother wrote on Facebook on Dec. 5, trying to raise money through a cash app for his defense. The boy is friends with the mayoral candidate on Facebook.
“My son came into a group of young men who he thought were his friends and talked him into doing something that he should’ve had a mind-frame strong enough to know it was a terrible decision and now the county is declared him a menace to society,” she wrote. (There is no evidence of other suspects, despite the mother’s comments.)
Capt. Dan Baumann did confirm for WRN that the suspect is 14, the victim is 87, and she was sexually assaulted at knifepoint. “This incident is sad and disgusting, but I’m very mindful of the privacy issues surrounding with both victim and suspect,” he said, declining to give further details. We obtained that information from sources.
Sources tell WRN that the suspect took the woman at knifepoint from the book return area of the library on Tuesday Nov. 30, 2021, and forced her back to her car. The suspect drove around while forcing the woman to perform sex acts on him.
We have his name but are not publishing it until he is charged. It is yet to be seen whether he will be charged as an adult; nothing comes up in CCAP under his name.
Per Chap. 938, Wis. Stats. the District Attorney can petition the juvenile court to waive its jurisdiction and have the child tried in adult court if the juvenile is at least 14 years old and is alleged to have committed felony murder, reckless homicide, sexual assault, hostage-taking, kidnapping, armed robbery, aggravated burglary, manufacturing or distribution of a controlled substance, or participation in gang activity.
Here’s the email parents received from Les Paul Middle School; we are told this is the only information they were told about the incident:
“...saddened and troubled...”
but not surprised and shocked.

Im pretty sure if it had been me the cops were looking for, the hospital would have been the place my dad would have told them to go look. My dad was racist too. He did6nt like young white boys doing heinous stuff. Stupid was not appreciated much either, unless I got hurt in such a way that it made him laugh or shake his head.

Connecting carjacking and rape of an 87 year-old woman to his uncle’s lifetime in “politics” is more revealing than the animal mother intended.

Don’t think “Why would a 14-year-old want an 87-year-old?” (like he was motivated only by lust! or even because he wanted her car); think “This is how terror takes hold of a community. If a high-schooler will attack a great-grandma - steal her car and sexually assault her at knifepoint - then who is safe?” This just after four grandmothers - each one of whom was worth about five of an elderly slacker like me - got mowed down from behind without even one second to try to get out of the way or even know they were being attacked.
