A Norwegian Cruise Line ship arrived in New Orleans on Sunday with several passengers and crew members who have contracted COVID-19.
The Norwegian Breakaway departed from New Orleans on Nov. 28 and made stops in Belize, Honduras and Mexico, the state's department of health said.

Wouldn’t they still have to test people even if everyone on the ship was “boosted?” And wouldn’t some still test positive?
Our “betters” have admitted the Notavax does not prevent transmission, right?
So neither would the boosters, right?
Why do the test people?

So they test people, I surmise, before they disembark on the theory that people might have contracted Covid from unvaccinated people they bought fresh pineapple from at a stand at a port stop, or something like that.
(As if they couldn’t get Covid from a vaxxed person onboard who got it from vaxxed person at a port stop and that vaxxed passenger just had the fortune to get a false negative.)
But then they make them quarantine. And the Notavax was supposed to help us get back to normal.
I am afraid infectious diseases like covid-19 are not going away. Getting sick on a cruise ship trapped among a crowd of people is no fun. One needs to think about these things when planning a vacation.
Just a day or two ago, a pro-vaxxer here was crowing about the wonderful, fully-vaxxed, Covid-free cruise he had just been on.

Just got home from a cruise in the Bahamas. Everyone vexed. One person got covid and they were quarantined in their room the whole trip. You can’t catch everyone.
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
At Thanksgiving dinner the fully vaxced people were plenty pissed off. Conditions they had under control, like arthritis and a couple I’d never heard of apparently got much worse after their second shot. They are back under control but after much effort and significantly more medication. They blamed the vaccination shots.
Boy, I thought all cruise ship passengers had to be injected with the make believe vaccine before boarding. This is just another example proving they don’t work. Also, how many of the infected died or needed special transport to debark the vessel? I bet none.
I’ve become fully vexed too.

Catching a norovirus(?sp) when on a cruise has been a distinct possibility for years-the one-and-only cruise my hubby and I went on-to the Bahamas-was in the mid-1980’s, and there was the risk of it even then-we ditched the cruise and got a charter flight at the 1st stop-rented a car in the Keys-not because of virus-we were just bored...
Cruise ships now sound like Klingon prison ships-complete with the virus du jour...
The author of that paper is not a happy camper.
