Fauci says Biden administration reevaluating Omicron travel bans

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday that the Biden administration “feels very badly” about the impact caused by the travel restrictions imposed on South Africa and other nearby countries to limit the spread of the Omicron variant and is reevaluating the ban.
“We all feel very badly about the hardship that might have put upon not only South Africa, but the other African countries. And for that reason, in real-time, literally, on a daily basis…. we’re reevaluating that policy,” Fauci told anchor Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of Union.”

The only possible remedy for this terrible injustice is to immediately make available ten million green cards for immigrants from South Africa. The racial composition of the new South African Dreamers shall be determined on the basis of the demographic characteristics of their home country.
