ON THE BRINK Russia warns war with Ukraine is ‘highly likely’ and puts troops on ‘combat readiness’ as US vows to respond to invasion

RUSSIA has warned war is 'highly likely' with Ukraine following orders to troops to remain 'combat ready' after speculation of a Ukrainian invasion.

The Kremlin has said that Kiev's desire to retake Crimea is "direct threat", as the US vows to respond following growing reports of a Russian invasion.

Tensions between Ukraine and Russia have been escalating over recent weeks, with Moscow having massed troops within striking distance of its neighbour’s borders.

Vladimir Putin has also ordered US officials to leave Russia immediately amid fears he plans to order an invasion of Ukraine, before the end of January.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in parliament that Crimea - which Moscow seized in 2014 - was Ukrainian territory and Kiev's goal was to 'liberate' it, focusing on diplomatic solutions.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow is worried about the possibility of a Ukrainian military move.

He said: "Speaking in parliament, Zelensky said that the return of Crimea should be the main goal and philosophy of Ukraine.

"We see this as a direct threat to Russia.

Biden isn’t going to do anything when Russia takes Ukraine or when China takes Taiwan. Things will heat up when the Olympics are over.

I believe—my Tarot Cards say. 1) an event will happen in the USA—to distract us—Terrorism is my bet—Big Bomb blast, or Assassination or Civil War—something then. 2) an event happens Taiwan shoots down a jet or Ukraine hits Some town taking a few lives. Then all hell happens. A) China Hits Taiwan with Ciber, Trojan Horse attack, and on the same day Russia Rolls on Ukraine from Belarus and Take Kiev before the US or NATO can blink. Same time, Iran attacks Southern Iraq to form Sumer as a state, and hits Saudi Arabia from Yemen. ALL ON THE SAME DAY!

Not a Putin lover but the Ukrainians helped develop the Steele Dossier and conspired against our POTUS

Not sure where you got that idea. Igor Yurievich Danchenko, the source for the Steele Dossier is Russian.

Igor Yurievich Danchenko (born May 5, 1978) is a Russian citizen and U.S. resident currently residing in Virginia

Beginning in March 2016, Danchenko was tasked by Christopher Steele to investigate Paul Manafort, as well as Donald Trump, Sergei Ivanov, Carter Page, and Michael Cohen.[ Some parts of the information contributed by Danchenko became part of the FBI's foreign intelligence surveillance warrants on Carter Page.

In July 2020, the Senate Judiciary Committee released a 59-page summary of the FBI's interview with Danchenko, where he was referred to anonymously as the "Primary Subsource" for the Steele Dossier. Shortly after the release of the summary, online sleuths identified the "Primary Subsource" as Danchenko.

Biden wants Ukraine like it is: corrupt and easily shaken down by his two-bit whore-monger drug addicted son. There's cash "in them thair hills..."

Is that worth going to war over? OK, Ukraine didn't give Hunter a diamond with his whores... guess they should have done that... and maybe some State Department johnnies didn't get all the whores and cash they wanted either... can't win 'em all guys... or 'theys' or whatevers...

Is that enough reason to go to war?

There's nothing in Ukraine that's important for the American people. Besides we've already given away 85 BILLION dollars worth of weapons to the Taliban... isn't that enough bullsh*t for the year for our Pentagon "we know the right pronouns to use' brass jerkoffs?

In fact he is Ukrainian-born and a dual citizen. Also a fellow of several East Coast ‘Freedom NGOs’ and an author of most hoaxes regarding the alleged Putin’s corruption.

Exactly.

Putin is a tin-pot dictator wannabe (like so many others) and is allowing Russia’s mask to slip showint it’s truly ugly face.

Russia has always been an aggressively expansionist totalitarian state, gobbling up still more territory which it does not need (it can’t populate the territory it already has).

Little Ukraine is SUCH a “threat” to huge Russia just like Poland was to Germany in 1939.

I’m not sure what can be done, but I do think both Russia and China need to be diplomatically isolated and removed from the modern world’s institutions and norms. I don’t think it’s good if everyone just stands by and allows countries and peoples to be gobbled up willy-nilly. Just like excusing Antifa and BLM, it will enable all the “bullies” of the world to start running roughshod over anybody, anywhere.

I can only find that he grew up in Russia.

Danchenko grew up in Perm Oblast, Russia. In 1996, Danchenko graduated from Specialized English Language School 7 in Perm, Russia

Ukraine has been a cancer on US policy and especially America’s domestic politics, since the CIA turned it from a Russian kleptocracy, to an American kleptocracy in 2014

Take Kiev before the US or NATO can blink

Are you listening to yourself?

In what universe would any American President send a US army deep into Eastern Europe to fight a war over some dispute on Russia's borders?

That would never, ever happen.

With the Ukrainian wheat and farm products, the old Soviet Union would not have enough food. Russia lacks adequate dependable farming year in and out. Hence the US-Russian Wheat Deal in 1970s, causing the price of wheat products like a loaf of bread in the US to more than double as the price increased. That wheat deal probably kept the USSR in line at the time from waging aggression.

Putin is trying to revive the USSR. He and his old guard were mid-level officials.

Additionally, it reported that Putin personally killed 83 Germans during his stay in East Germany. One reported incident is that he was brought into a KGB intelligence room for prisoners where three men were seated. Putin told them he was going to give them one chance to tell him what he wanted to know, and that he was only going to ask once before they all would be executed. He asked them the question, and when none spoke he pulled out his revolver and shot the man on the right. Both remaining began to speak and told him what he wanted; then he shot them both because they didn’t speak up the first time. THIS IS WHY BUSH KNEW THE EYES OF PUTIN....

Wiki was recently redacted by your types omitting his Ukrainian ties for some reason.

I have no idea is Putin worth 100 billion or not, or what proves his Krivonogikh connection, but given the source of libel it needs to be taken with a fistful of salt.

I have never seen any prove to both claims. Krivonigikh connection allegation is particularly laughable. They say her daughter is Putin’s because she looks like him. The same can’t be said about one in five SPb residents.

I get confused sometimes isn’t China the greater enemy.

Angela Merkel and I agreed once when she said that the high level of hostility to Russia only drives them into the arms of China.

Hatred of Russia in our high echelons is based on something my two theories.

1. Ancestors of government officials persecuted by Russia.

2. Followers of Marx and Lenin hiding in our government who hate the fact that Russia moved onto a new kind of regime from the Hammer and Sickle one.

“ That was fake video. Like most of what came out of China during the outbreak.”

I don’t know what video you are referring to.

I am talking about what was told to my friend by folks he had worked with in Wuhan just months prior to the outbreak.

Not fake.
