A man made anti-Asian remarks after striking a woman with his bicycle’s handlebars Saturday, police said Wednesday.
The incident happened about 6:30 p.m. inside the 116th Street Station in Manhattan, police said. The victim — a 53-year-old woman — was walking on the platform when the man hit her from behind. When the victim asked him why he struck her, the man responded by making anti-Asian slurs, police said.
The suspect then fled to the other end of the station.
Police said the victim was treated privately for lower back injuries. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
The man was last seen wearing a black jacket, black gloves and a black du-rag.
Accordingly, the MSM has gone in full blackout mode regarding this story.
Battery is battery. Who cares what he said? Charge him accordingly.
Thought crimes are an abomination.
That’s not the way triggered NYC works.
Back when the educational system was slightly more rational, I was taught people will identify differences and discriminate on those. If we were all alike, we’d search for differences, and use them to segregate. Like, brown eyes vs. blue eyes, or brown vs. blonde hair, etc.
People will be bigoted. We need to quit being verklempt over stupid remarks, and deal with actions.
That’s the way things need to work.
We don’t help thing by accepting the ‘hate crime’ storyline.

You’re exactly right. If he committed battery, charge him with battery, period.
As I’m sure you will agree, “hate crime” laws are particularly insidious because they can be applied to anyone, anywhere. It’s just another tool in Big Brother’s toolbox. As the old saying goes, if they want ya, they got ya.
Hate crimes are a step towards outlawing the thought, without there being a real crime.

Awhile back I read an article about some female state senator. I think she was from Virginia, although I’m not sure about that.
Anyway, she proposed a law making it a crime to criticize government officials. She said that such criticism could motivate a crazy person to do something violent. So criticism must be outlawed.
Her idea was rejected. But that it was even suggested shows how far our country has sunk.
Yeah. With such poor lighting and image quality, it’s easy to understand why the media hesitate to include the race of the unshaven, middle aged, cigarette smoking offender.

I use to live in Queens NYC Astoria, and saw blacks attacking Asians all the time. Blacks are just racist as hell against Asians, I dont know why and of course the MarxoCrats never talk about that. Remember the black judge and the cleaners? He sued them for millions for losing his pants and he put them out of business
The worst I ever saw was around 1100 pm at night this black dude was banging on the window of this Chinese take out place and the guy/owner was telling him they were closed, so the black dude took one of those cobble stone bricks that are placed around trees and threw it through the window destroying the whole thing and being the smug little prick he was he didn’t even run away as if he had the right to do it.
Obviously, he’s a Hasidic Jewish man.

Why? 100% they will release him with no bail, I doubt he’ll even be arrested.
I am, and have been since the concept of “Hate Crime” became a thing.
If someone said something bad or racist, that is protected, however bad it is unless it is a physical threat.
If someone assaults someone, charge with assault.
If someone spray paints a church or synagogue, charge with defacing property.
If someone rapes or murders, charge with rape or murder.
This “Thought Crime/Hate Crime” BS has made me angry since day one, especially since it appears to only be a one way ratchet for Leftists, or a blunt instrument to be used by Leftists against those they wish to demonize.

The Left does not believe justice should be colorblind. They see that as a bad thing, and I disagree with it.
We should all be equal in the eye of the law.
The NCIS LA show recently showed us that all anti-Asian violence is perpetrated by white supremacists.
