JOHANNESBURG (AP) — A new coronavirus variant has been detected in South Africa that scientists say is a concern because of its high number of mutations and rapid spread among young people in Gauteng, the country’s most populous province, Health Minister Joe Phaahla announced Thursday.
Currently identified as B.1.1.529, the new variant has also been found in Botswana and Hong Kong in travelers from South Africa, he said.
The British government announced that it was banning flights from South Africa and five other southern African countries effective at noon (1200GMT) on Friday, and that anyone who had recently arrived from those countries would be asked to take a coronavirus test.
U.K. Health Secretary Sajid Javid said there were concerns the new variant “may be more transmissible” than the dominant delta strain, and “the vaccines that we currently have may be less effective” against it.

All to get rid of Trump and install their authoritarian utopia Stalin regime... to cement a unitary party state within the US that would abolish any opposition party and seize 100% control over information, truth and censorship. This new control within the US would open our borders unrestricted, flood the country with illegals, renounce national sovereignty... and then submit to the globalist and get in line with a new world order under a UN like police state that would occupy every country on the globe.
Trump was an accident that wasn’t supposed to happen. These dark swamp creatures needed a catalyst, a sure-thing crisis that would facilitate the magnitude of fraud required to unseat Trump. Mail-in-voting and the emergency powers to hasten changes to ballot/voter vetting requirements. Their Marxist/authoritarian plan was in jeopardy that was in place to fundamentally change America after Hillary succeeded Obama.
