Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges Friday after pleading self-defense in the deadly Kenosha shootings that became a flashpoint in the debate over guns, vigilantism and racial injustice in the U.S.
Watch Richards’ remarks in the player above.
Rittenhouse, 18, began to choke up, fell forward toward the defense table and then hugged one of his attorneys as he heard a court clerk recite “not guilty” five times.
Rittenhouse’s defense attorney, Mark Richards, said his client was greatly relieved by the verdict.
“There were times we doubted the case. There were times we were confident and to say that we were relieved would be a gross misunderstatement. And Kyle is not here. He’s on his way home. He wants to get on with his life. He has a huge sense of relief for what the jury did to him today,” Richards told reporters.

Watch your language!
Listened to him earlier. Impressive gentlemen.
Cha Ching for the lawyers....
That was pretty good
pivotal moment = getting rid of the first two lawyers (Lin Wood & John Pierce)
LOL, I agree. Couple of non Jewish shysters right there
Now murals for Kyle, the victim in all this.
Thanks for the post.
Wow, that is one of the best Q&A’s I have seen reporters do, and it’s because the lawyer was so good at handling their questions. It engaged the reporters too, they actually seemed curious and asked questions that made sense as the conference progressed, rather than prepared stupid questions designed to make some point or to make them famous. You cannot even see the reporters!
It is 25 minutes long, and I was just going to take a peek, but once I started watching I could not stop.
It is hard to hear the questions, but you can tell the gist of what was asked from the answers.
There is very little repetition, little spin, just solid accurate answers from an obviously great lawyer and speaker.
It’s definitely worth watching.
Bkmk.
Absolutely great interview.
Appears to be a good lawyer and nice person.
Nice to find out he gave Kyle a choice when hired. Kyle’s choice proved even more so that he is innocent.
If Kyle had chosen “cause” he would have lost. Things would have gotten too complicated and fallen straight into the prosecutor’s lap.
.
Now the ‘persecutors’ need to be charged for withholding evidence. Democrats think their own **** doesn’t stink and prove it by ignoring their own history. I saw a video about known race hoaxer William Darrell “Garage Door Pull is a noose” Wallace Jr. is upset over Kyle Rittenhouse being found not guilty, and you can check it out at Whatfinger News in crawler link top of page. 18yo Timothy George Simpkins shot 4 people at Timberview HS in Arlington Texas Oct. 6 and was released, but he is black so that’s okay with ‘Bubba’[SIC]. He just wants the scalp of 17yo Kyle who stopped 3 people who attempted to kill him. The reason leftists get away with this stuff is that we allow it. They must be held accountable.
Xoe Xiden puppet of Xi isn’t king of amerika and can’t say anything he wants to. I know Kyle’s mom spoke about suing him and I hope that happens.
Babylon Bee has a story up about Sandmann and Kyle sharing joint custody of CNN. LOL
I’m happy with the verdict, but it shouldn’t have taken 5 days for 12 people to not convict a 17yo for defending himself against adults (some with criminal records) who tried to kill him. That’s like 5 hours (if not minutes) max.
This was a lefty part of Wisconsin, not Idaho. It’s a win, and the kid is free.
It was a really good 👍 interview, and very introspective. I liked the discussion of their decision to put him on the stand.
Yeah, the jury was a 6-6 split. Sure. Partisan Media Shill malfeasance should be prosecuted, right after Merritt Garland is forced from office and jailed.
