TikTok user TheColt3.0 recently posted a TikTok explaining he was in prison for 19 ½ years for killing his sister’s alleged rapist.
Colter Thomas was 12 years old when his 14 year old sister came home with blood on her jeans and said that their family friend Carl had raped her.
Thomas then called four of his friends and grabbed a crowbar and a baseball bat and went to Carl’s house. Carl died from the injuries three days later in the hospital.
He was sentenced to 19 years in prison for killing the alleged rapist.
Thomas was later charged with battery with attempt to commit a serious felony. Thomas was released from prison seven years ago.
However, his story has been met with mixed of people calling him a hero, and some saying the murder wasn’t justified.
Thor Straume commented, “you got 19 years when you were 12 for that that's mind blowing man that's just not fair there’s some youth do have murder charges that get like 5 to 10 year.”
Currently, juveniles usually faces the adult criminal justice system when charged with murder. Although unintentional death does not constitute murder, it could have similar charges of manslaughter.
This makes it incredibly important for juvenile cases to be reviewed for circumstances.

How many of the dumb bints on YourTango will be mailing him nude photos and their panties?
If he was in 19 years, then it was long after he list his sister in 1995?
If he was still 12, the Lincoln Project would be mailing him their panties
He was released from jail 7 years ago.
He does essentially note that she is still alive, but apparently doesn’t talk to him or appreciate what he did for her since 95.
Society was not made safer or better by jailing him from age 12 to 31.
He was not a danger to society. He was a danger to rapists.
So would Biden. Poopy ones.
I thought juveniles can only be jailed till they are 21
Was this a jury trial?
Inspite of what he may look like today, what would you do if your sister came home bloodied and said she was raped
You’re absolutely right he shouldn’t have done that... The neighborhood should have gotten together gone over the rapists house and strung him up on a telephone pole outside by where the trashcans are located.
Nothing like a prison tat to enhance ones looks

No. You call the cops and have a trial. People lie.
I swear I was being cynically ironic.
