PHOENIX, AZ — All city of Phoenix workers will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Jan. 18, according to an ABC 15 report.
City employees were notified of the vaccination mandate through a Thursday email, ABC 15 reported.
Employees who aren't vaccinated by Jan. 18 could lose their jobs, AZ Family reported. Employees are not currently required to get booster shots.
The city says that because it holds so many federal contracts, all of its employees are subject to President Joe Biden's executive order mandating vaccination for all employees of federal contractors, ABC 15 reported.
This needs to stop once and for all.

I believe this is illegal in Arizona per AZ state law.

No, only those affected by the OSHA vaccine mandates, not the federal employees. that’s a separate issue many of us are hoping to be blocked as well.
Unfortunately, the AZ Supreme Court threw out the law that prohibited it. It was passed in an end-of-year grab bag law, which has been done for decades. For the first time, the AZ Supreme Court ruled laws affecting a variety of issues is a violation of the state constitution.

My son was down there earlier this week. He said it’s a toilet. And Tucson is an outhouse on top of a sewer on top of a swamp.
Your son is right. Trash everywhere, grass and weeds growing up through the sidewalks and what do they spend tax money on? The trash police. Two guys riding around in a pickup going through the recycle bins and then stapling a notice to it grading you on recycling.
Wait until the garbage piles up in the heat & the rats are thick as gnats.
