On Nov. 16, 2021, the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced it is suspending all implementation and enforcement efforts related to the Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) on mandatory COVID-19 vaccination and testing in the workplace. The announcement follows the Nov. 12, 2021 order from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals staying enforcement of the ETS pending a final ruling on its legality. OSHA intends to resume implementation and enforcement of the ETS following litigation, if permitted. This newly stated position immediately impacts employers with 100 or more employees who are not federal contractors or otherwise subject to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ guidance. Such employers can breathe easier, as they are no longer faced with Dec. 5, 2021 and Jan. 4, 2022 compliance deadlines associated with implementing a vaccine mandate or weekly testing program.

Every single employer who has implemented this mandate against it’s employees should be sued into poverty.
Hallelujah!
That would serve no purpose other than to put millions out of work and start the next great depression.
Let's hope that this ruling will positively affect the lawsuits to suspend the same mandate for the military and federal workforce.
Well then at least sue them to have those who were fired re-instated.
Need the same for the CMS mandate for all employers that accept medicaid/medicare.
Yes. It’s going to be tough in hospitals and clinics with that crap.
Sue the individuals responsible, not the corporations.
Pfascism is slowed down—but the Fuhrer’s army is resupplying...
I hope so too, but not that optimistic. My son works as a cook in a VA hospital locally. He is going to get fired, not sure when, he will not take the vaccine nor has he given any vaccine to his children, not even polio. He is truly an anti vaxxer and will probably loose his 17 year job because of it. It told him make them fire you, don't quit, he says if they fire him he looses all his benefits.
He told me he is OK with it, he said "if a professional basketball player can give up millions in his salary, I can give up my job and my 20 year pension."
Let us name some names:
Seems like Fed. Contractors are still on the mandate. (?)
Something tells me the Biden administration wanted an out after this idea crashed and burned, so they whispered to their OSHA leaders to use the litigation as an excuse to stand down…
My wife’s been working at a nursing home this whole time. Unlike the demon bastards in NY, NJ, MI, they’ve done a very good job of keeping the residents healthy. The employees have to get tested every week and 5-6 of them have had covid and recovered. Most have not gotten the jab and will not get it. The company has several homes and will likely have a rough time keeping employees if the jabs get mandated. The alternative is to stop accepting medicaid/medicare. Either way, the residents will be the ones to suffer.
Dear judges:
It’s really quite simple:
Freedom good!
Totalitarian government bad!
"Employers who are federal contractors or health care providers should not make decisions based on OSHA’s announcement and the Fifth Circuit’s order. Those employers are subject to different, although similar, federal mandates: the Federal Contractor Mandate and the CMS Medicare Omnibus Staff Vaccine Mandate Interim Final Rule. Both of these governmental mandates are currently being challenged, but at the moment have not been halted by any federal court action."

A bit of hope. I saw the article and forwarded it to my son and brother, both in the private sector. My son is looking at $50/month surcharge on his company’s health insurance if unvaxxed. I told him I would pay it, if needed.
Still crickets at my federal (DoD) work site with 5 days to go.
That’s not how it works. They form corporations to limit personal liability.
>>> That would serve no purpose other than to put millions out of work and start the next great depression.
Or prevent it.
Our best defense is non-compliance.
It wouldn’t take long for employers to choose to do the right thing instead of complying out of fear of the fed.
OSHA has already suspended their implementation of the mandate.
Any employer who proceeds at this point SHOULD BE PROSECUTED under existing laws that protect us from this type of tyranny!
Not sure if you’ve noticed this yet or not, but the dollar is already toast. They have engineered this reset way beyond the point of no return.
The only thing left to protect is human rights.
