Americans may be grappling with how to put food on the table amid a sharp rise in the cost of everyday goods — but you’d never know it from the tab President Biden has racked up on their dime.
Biden’s choice of regular weekend and a few midweek trips home to Delaware have cost nearly $3 million in security alone, Secret Service expense records shared with The Post show.
Biden’s security detail spent $1.96 million on 16 trips to his Delaware homes this year, the records indicate. Another nine trips aren’t yet counted and likely push the total to $3 million.
Those 25 trips have been racked up in just 43 weeks in office.

I have heard those trips are to keep him out of public view, like the trips to Camp David.
Rather, dementia patients - and Alzheimer patients - panic when away from familiar environments, environments different from what they “remember” of 10-15 years before.
Biden’s press earlier claimed he “cannot sleep well” in the White House, and so goes home to Delaware. This backs those statements up.

... these things plus the hefty cost of plastic covers for all of the furniture and improvements to the ventilation system (to protect Duchess Camilla should she drop in) ... these things add up quickly, y’know!

We would be better off if he just stayed there.
I remember a suggestion from last year that instead of holding the election, we put Biden in a nursing home that looks like the inside of the White House, and let him think he won.
